A Royal Kashmiri Feast Unfolds at The Lodhi: Shahras Wazwan at Elan

New Delhi, February 2026: New Delhi, February 2026: Shahras Wazwan, a heritage-driven Kashmiri dining concept, launches a special pop-up titled “Our Tribute to This Timeless Culinary Legacy of Kashmir Valleys” at The Elan, New Delhi, from 27th February to 1st March 2026, offering diners an immersive celebration of traditional Wazwan cuisine crafted through time-honoured techniques and authentic flavours to honour Kashmir’s rich ceremonial food heritage.

Inspired by the mist-laden valleys of Kashmir, where food is not merely cooked but revered, Shahras Wazwan brings to the capital a feast once reserved for royalty and grand celebrations. Rooted in patience, precision, and pride, the experience reflects the ceremonial grandeur that defines Wazwan.

The limited-period menu showcases iconic dishes such as Rogan Josh, radiant with Kashmiri chillies; Tabak Maaz, slow-simmered in milk and finished in pure ghee; and Gucchi Methi Yakhni, earthy and aromatic, embodying Kashmir’s deep connection to land and season. Each preparation carries the warmth of Kashmiri hospitality and the weight of centuries-old culinary craftsmanship.

Guided by a philosophy of minimal modern interference, the pop-up emphasises slow cooking, yogurt-based gravies, saffron, fennel, dried ginger, and traditional spice blends that once travelled ancient Himalayan trade routes. Alongside royal non-vegetarian classics, thoughtfully curated vegetarian dishes stand tall within the Wazwan tradition.

Designed for lovers of authentic regional Indian cuisine, luxury diners seeking cultural depth, and families and experiential gatherings, Shahras Wazwan at The Elan is more than a pop-up — it is a refined tribute to one of India’s most celebrated culinary legacies.
