Eros Hotel New Delhi by IHG announces the appointment of Mohit Singh as Director of Operations. Mohit joins Eros Hotel New Delhi with extensive experience in hotel operations and food & beverage, having most recently served as Director of Operations and Area F&B Champion at Crowne Plaza Mayur Vihar Delhi.

Operating under IHG, Eros Hotel New Delhi continues to strengthen its leadership team and its position in the capital’s luxury hospitality landscape. In his new role as Director of Operations, Mohit will support the hotel’s service excellence and operational efficiency.

As Director of Operations, Mohit will work closely with the hotel’s leadership team to support its operational priorities and uphold high standards of service and guest experience. His extensive experience across hotel operations and food & beverage will further contribute to Eros Hotel New Delhi’s continued focus on delivering quality hospitality.

Experience across leading hospitality brands

A seasoned hospitality professional, Mohit has worked with several renowned hospitality establishments, including Indian Accent, Jaypee Hotel, The Oberoi, The Leela Hotel Delhi, Four Points by Sheraton New Delhi, and the IHG Group of Hotels. His Diverse experience across leading hospitality brands has enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations and guest service.

Hospitality and marketing expertise

Mohit holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Catering Technology and is a postgraduate in Marketing. His academic background, combined with nearly two decades of professional experience, brings together specialised hospitality knowledge and marketing expertise.

Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel elevates Stephen George to Director of Operations

The hospitality veteran takes on the new role after leading the hotel's food and beverage operations since 2024.

Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel has announced the elevation of Stephen George as Director of Operations. Bringing over 20 years of hospitality experience, Stephen assumes the role after serving as the hotel’s Director of Food & Beverage, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening operational performance, enhancing guest experiences and driving key business initiatives.

New responsibilities

As Director of Operations, Stephen will work closely with the General Manager to oversee hotel operations, optimize business performance, elevate guest satisfaction and ensure operational excellence across all departments while upholding Marriott and Renaissance brand standards.

Professional journey

Having joined the hotel in 2024, Stephen has been instrumental in driving F&B growth, leading large-scale events, supporting the hotel’s renovation journey and fostering a high-performing team culture. Prior to Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel, he held leadership positions across leading hospitality brands including Hyatt, Club Mahindra, Al Raha Beach Hotel Abu Dhabi and Park Hyatt Goa.

Sharad Singh elevated to Director of Operations at the Westin Goa

Sharad Singh, who joined the Westin Goa as the Director of Food and Beverage, has been promoted to Director of Operations. Sharad will continue to lead day-to-day Hotel operations and relationship management in his new position. Additionally, he would also focus on business requirements and processes.

Sharad Singh brings his extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in this filed with 17 years of extensive experience in operations, strategy planning, marketing and promotions, customer relationship management, and spotting hotel trends, Sharad will in his new appointment oversees all aspects of the hotel’s planning and service.

In addition to training with technical knowledge and customer handling which he believes it’s a paramount priority in today’s times, Sharad will also be primarily responsible of the smooth hotel operations across all verticals. Over the years, he has also become an expert in formulating standard operating procedures that keep the department functioning.

His core competencies lie in strategy planning, policies and procedure formulation, restaurant management, vendor and team management, budgeting, sales and marketing, advertising and promotion planning, and public relations to name a few. 

In his previous roles, Sharad was associated with reputed brands like Sheraton Grand, St. Regis in Mumbai, and various Marriott Hotels in USA, Pune, Jaipur, and Mumbai.

During his time, he received numerous awards and recognition, the most recent was the prestigious Marriott International Award for ‘Best Food and Beverage Operations’ in APEC.
