Sneha Sharma joins ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’ with close to two decades of experience across consumer businesses in global hospitality, FMCG, retail, and entertainment. Her career includes roles at Apparel UAE, where she managed brands such as Tim Hortons and Cold Stone Creamery, as well as senior leadership positions at Radisson, Baskin-Robbins, and Massive Hospitality. She also co-founded Gigsmith Entertainment, adding experience in developing and managing brands across different business environments.
Building distinct brand identities
That range – across sectors as diverse as F&B, hospitality, jewellery, legacy institutions – is central to what she brings to ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’. Her experience spans both global chains and startups, giving her exposure to different approaches to brand building. At Monarch, her mandate consists of applying this experience across a diverse portfolio, shaping the distinct positioning, personality, and growth strategy for Que Sera Sera, TAT, Eve, and Sorena. Her approach to marketing extends beyond campaigns to understanding consumers and aligning marketing with operations, sales and the wider leadership team.
Talking about this new chapter, Sneha Sharma, VP of Marketing, ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’, said, “This role allows me to build a portfolio that already has so much uniqueness built into it. It’s a rare canvas at this stage in my career. Monarch brings a strong entrepreneurial energy and a willingness to think differently, which matters in a market as competitive as Mumbai. I was looking for a role that brings together brand building, consumer understanding, and commercial thinking, at a scale where that experience can actually shape outcomes, and this felt like the right combination of ambition, opportunity, and timing.”
The group’s approach to brand building
Sumit Govind Sharma, Founder & Director, ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’, said, “As we scale ‘Monarch Liberty Hospitality’ across new addresses and new categories, having a strong identity across each brand becomes as important as the experience itself. Sneha brings a mix of consumer insights and commercial understanding, shaped by two decades of working across very different businesses. She understands that a campaign isn’t just about visibility; it’s about giving people a reason to remember a brand and return to it. We’re confident she will bring that same rigour and imagination to how the world sees Monarch Hospitality and every brand under it.”
