Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal Appoints Samarth Gangthade as Food and Beverage Manager

Bengaluru, July 2026 – Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal is pleased to announce the appointment of Samarth Gangthade as its new Food and Beverage Manager. Bringing over a decade of rich experience in luxury hospitality and Food and Beverage operations, Samarth joins the hotel with an impressive track record of driving revenue growth, curating exceptional guest experiences and leading high-performing teams across renowned hospitality brands.

Prior to joining Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, Samarth served as the Food and Beverage Manager at Novotel Chennai Chamiers Road, where he successfully led the ho hel's diverse dining portfolio and consistently achieved record revenues through innovative culinary and beverage experiences. His distinguished career also includes leadership roles at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, The Ritz-Carlton Pune, P&O Cruises, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and Royal Caribbean International. Recognized for his expertise in beverage management, nightlife concepts and strategic business planning, Samarth has been instrumental in launching award-winning dining and entertainment experiences throughout his career.

In his new role, Samarth will oversee all food and beverage operations at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal, focusing on enhancing guest experiences, driving operational excellence and introducing innovative dining concepts. His passion for hospitality, combined with his strong business acumen and creative approach to food and beverage experiences, is set to further strengthen the hotel's culinary offerings and reinforce its position as one of Bengaluru's preferred hospitality destinations.

Samarth holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Ahmedabad, and brings a strong blend of academic excellence and industry expertise to his role as Food and Beverage Manager at Courtyard by Marriott Bengaluru Hebbal. 

DoubleTree by Hilton Goa Panaji appoints Surjeet Singh Rawat as Food and Beverage Manager

Surjeet Singh Rawat
will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations, meeting high-quality standards as set by the hotel, offering excellence in enhancing guest dining experiences.

He will also be responsible for staff training and development to strengthen daily on-ground momentum, inventory and financial planning and management. Serving in the hospitality industry for the past 8 years, Surjeet is a seasoned professional and has been associated with various hospitality brands across India. A high-spirited individual with a detail-oriented approach to his duty, Surjeet’s last stint was with Hilton & Hilton Garden Inn Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park as part of the preopening team. Within a year was promoted to Asst. F&B manager and promoted to F&B manager by virtue of an internal transfer.

He has been associated with Hilton for about 2 years starting as a Restaurant manager and served as an integral part of the team with his proficient and exemplary management skills. Prior to that, he has been part of brands like IHCL and Marriott Hotels. He is also an alumnus of IHM Kufri, Shimla.
