Nishant Negi is the General Manager of Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Dwarka — a 392-room upper-upscale property that anchors New Delhi's newest business and events district, adjacent to Yashobhoomi, the India International Convention & Expo Centre. With over 20 years at ITC Hotels, he has built a career defined by turnarounds, pre-openings and the steady, disciplined craft of running large, complex hotels at the highest level.

His path through the group — spanning leadership roles at ITC Grand Chola, ITC Maratha, Sheraton New Delhi and ITC Mughal, before rising through front office and Resident Manager positions to General Manager — has given him a rare, ground-up fluency in hotel operations, ownership relations and revenue strategy, sharpened further by a Revenue Management certification from IIM Ahmedabad.

At Welcomhotel Dwarka, Nishant is leading one of the hotel's most ambitious chapters: a full repositioning of the property toward MICE and celebrations leadership in Delhi NCR, anchored by the launch of Del One, the hotel's new all-day dining destination, and Still & Soil, its craft gin bar. The initiative reflects his belief that a hotel's next phase of growth must be led as deliberately as its first — through sharper positioning, distinctive food and beverage concepts, and experiences guests choose to return for and talk about.

Nishant's contribution to the industry has been recognised with the Hotelier India GM of the Year — North Region award and Hotel of the Year – Premium, Spotlight Award 2025 by ITC Hotels.
