Role and responsibilities

In her new role, Candice will lead the hotel’s revenue management function, overseeing pricing strategy, demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and distribution management to maximise commercial performance. She will work closely with the sales, reservations and operations teams to identify new revenue opportunities and support the hotel’s overall business objectives.

Her key priorities will include strengthening the hotel’s commercial performance through data-driven pricing strategies, enhancing forecasting accuracy, optimising distribution channels and identifying new revenue opportunities across market segments. She will also focus on fostering cross-functional collaboration to drive sustainable RevPAR growth and maximise the hotel’s long-term profitability.

Professional background

Candice joins Grand Mercure Bengaluru Gopalan Mall from Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, where she served as Assistant Manager – Revenue. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving pricing strategy, forecasting demand, managing inventory and analysing market trends across rooms and convention business.

She was also involved in the implementation of Opera Cloud and IDEAS Revenue Management System, further strengthening the property’s revenue planning and operational efficiency. Prior to this, Candice held roles in Reservations at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, ibis Chennai City Centre and Alila Diwa Goa, building a strong foundation in hotel distribution, reservations strategy and commercial operations before transitioning into Revenue Management.
