The Westin Pune Koregaon Park Appoints Dhananjay Kuwar as Beverage Manager for Asilo

Pune, March 2026: The Westin Pune Koregaon Park is pleased to announce the appointment of Dhananjay Kuwar as the Beverage Manager for Asilo, the hotel’s iconic  lounge.

With over eight years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dhananjay brings with him a dynamic blend of operational expertise, creative beverage innovation, and strong business acumen. In his new role, he will spearhead the beverage program at Asilo, curating distinctive experiences through innovative cocktails, premium spirits, and thoughtfully designed menus that elevate the guest experience.

Prior to joining The Westin Pune Koregaon Park, Dhananjay was associated with Acai Restaurant & Bar in Pune, where he led end-to-end restaurant and bar operations. His career also includes valuable international exposure with Marriott International, having worked at JW Marriott Maldives and JW Marriott Orlando Bonnet Creek Resort & Spa, where he managed multi-outlet operations, led team trainings, and contributed to high-impact beverage strategies.

A certified professional with WSET Level 2 qualifications in Wines and Spirits, along with certifications in Sake and advanced mixology, Dhananjay has consistently demonstrated his passion for the craft. His achievements include being the 1st Runner-up at the Marriott International Mixologist Competition (Pune) and participating in several prestigious global bartender competitions.

In his new role at Asilo, Dhananjay aims to further enhance the bar’s reputation as one of Pune’s leading nightlife destinations by introducing innovative concepts, engaging bar takeovers, and curated beverage experiences.
