Common Time Brings Delhi's Most Loved Coffee Ritual to Mumbai with an Exclusive Pop-Up at Café by The St. Regis Mumbai, Phoenix Palladium

The much-loved specialty coffee destination marks its first venture outside Delhi with a month-long residency at one of Mumbai's most iconic luxury addresses.

Mumbai, August 2026: In just over a year, Common Time has redefined the way Delhi experiences coffee. From becoming one of the capital's most sought-after specialty coffee destinations to building a loyal community around thoughtfully designed spaces, exceptional brews and everyday rituals, the homegrown brand has rapidly established itself as a modern hospitality success story.

Now, following its remarkable expansion across Delhi, Common Time is making its Mumbai debut through an exclusive month-long pop-up at the Café by The St. Regis Mumbai,  Phoenix Palladium, running from 12th August to 12th September 2026.

Set within one of the city's most distinguished luxury destinations, the collaboration introduces Mumbai to Common Time's signature approach to specialty coffee. Guests can experience a carefully curated menu featuring the brand's bestselling coffee creations bringing together quality craftsmanship, warm hospitality and the understated luxury of slowing down over a great cup of coffee.

Designed as more than just a Café experience, the pop-up reflects Common Time's philosophy of creating spaces that celebrate modern rituals. Whether it's a midday coffee break, a catch-up with friends or a quiet moment between meetings, the residency invites Mumbai to discover the everyday culture that has made Common Time a phenomenon in Delhi.

The collaboration also marks a significant milestone in the brand's growth journey. As Common Time ventures beyond its home city for the first time, the pop-up offers an opportunity to engage with Mumbai's thriving specialty coffee community, introduce new audiences to its distinctive hospitality experience and offer a first taste of what the brand represents.

Devina Thapliyal joins The St. Regis Mumbai as Director of Housekeeping

The St. Regis Mumbai has appointed Devina Thapliyal as Director of Housekeeping. Having commenced her career with one of the leading luxury hotel chains of India, Thapliyal brings with her a decade of housekeeping experience. She has ably led a large housekeeping taskforce in her past roles and will take on the mantle to lead the dynamic team of The St. Regis Mumbai.

Thapliyal’s skill and detail to attention over the years garnered through her roles with varied luxury properties has seen her rise through the ranks to her current leadership position. Her most recent role as part of the pre-opening team of one of the largest JW Marriott Hotels, JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, added many feathers in her cap.

At The St. Regis Mumbai, Thapliyal will helm the department with one of the largest workforces of her career to offer exemplary and exceptional service standards to the discerning guests. She will continue her prowess of offering the highest standards of guest experience and service befitting a luxury brand. Her focus will be ensuring high Guest Voice scores which will surely keep her and her team on their toes.

She led her team to be among the top 5 in Guest Voice, achieved 82% in cleanliness - placing her hotel among the top 10 J W Hotels over the last 4 years, contributed to Marriott’s Spirit to serve by providing employment for the specially abled and doing her bit for the carbon footprint by ably recycling waste.
