SAN SAN Arrives in Gurugram with a Fresh Take on Elevated Asian Dining
/A flavour-first menu, thoughtful design, and an experience-led approach
Gurugram’s dining culture continues to evolve, with diners seeking spaces that are as thoughtfully designed as the food they serve. Now open at AIPL Masterpiece on Golf Course Road, SAN SAN brings together a flavour-forward Asian menu, interpreted through a modern lens that resonates with the city’s palate.
Envisioned as more than just another Asian restaurant, SAN SAN is built around the idea of serving food that is comforting, flavourful, and memorable. The menu unfolds course by course, offering a balanced selection for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians, where every dish has a clear purpose.
From cold plates like Tofu Carpaccio and Salmon Tuna Tartare to distinctive offerings such as the No-Nori Sushi with Vietnamese asparagus, the menu sets a tone of freshness and precision. Signature dishes including Truffle Corn Ribs, Gochujang Chicken Yakitori, and Bird’s Eye Chilli Prawns highlight bold Asian flavours layered with familiarity. The Donburi section further anchors the experience, bringing depth, warmth, and layered flavours to the table.
The restaurant’s interiors reflect the same understated philosophy soft lighting, tactile textures, and a sense of quiet luxury create an atmosphere that feels both aspirational and inviting. Designed for everything from leisurely lunches to evening gatherings, SAN SAN focuses on creating a space where guests can relax, connect, and return.
Speaking about the vision, founder Ansh Khanijo shares,
"SAN SAN was born from years of travelling and exploring Asian cuisines. We wanted to create a place where every detail feels thoughtful, from the food to the atmosphere and where people come back not just for the food, but for the experience."
SAN SAN brings together hospitality, flavour, and design in a way that feels current yet timeless a space where meals are unhurried, conversations linger, and every visit feels considered.
Signatures include Tom Yum, a bold and savoury cocktail inspired by the aromatic depth and heat of the classic Thai dish; Shiro Miso, an umami-forward serve bringing the mellow depth of white miso into a refined cocktail; Shiso, fresh and herbaceous with the distinctive ingredient at its centre; and Kōhī, a coffee-led dessert cocktail designed as a final indulgence.
