Ibis Appoints Mahi Teja as General Manager of ibis Coimbatore City Centre

New Delhi, June 2026 - ibis, one of Accor's most trusted and fastest-growing economy hospitality brands, has announced the appointment of Mahi Teja as General Manager of ibis Coimbatore City Centre. Bringing close to 14 years of hospitality experience, Mahi joins the property after building a diverse career across sales, rooms, and hotel operations with leading hospitality brands, including Accor and Hyatt Hotels.

With a career spanning diverse hospitality environments, Mahi began in sales and has since gained broad experience across commercial functions, revenue growth, and hotel operations. Not just that, over the years, he has held diverse responsibilities across sales departments and hotel operations, working with multiple properties and brands across the Accor network. This combination of commercial and operational exposure has helped shape a leadership approach centred on performance, guest satisfaction, and people development. In his new role, he will be responsible for guiding the strategic and operational direction of ibis Coimbatore City Centre, while continuing to strengthen service excellence, team performance, and business growth.

These milestones highlight his dedication to continuous learning and his readiness to take on broader leadership responsibilities within the organisation.

Alongside this development, he has continued to take on increasingly strategic responsibilities across the organisation. Most recently, as Hotel Operations Manager at ibis Bengaluru Hosur Road, he contributed significantly to operational excellence, revenue performance, guest satisfaction, and people development, further strengthening the foundation for his transition into a general management role.
