/Bengaluru, March 2026: Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway is pleased to announce the appointment of Rijo Varghese as the Director of Food & Beverage. With over 17 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Rijo brings deep expertise in food and beverage operations, guest experience management and strategic business development.
In his new role, Rijo will oversee the overall performance and profitability of the hotel’s food and beverage operations. He will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the hotel’s dining venues, strengthening service standards and enhancing guest satisfaction while ensuring efficiency in areas such as budgeting, sales forecasting, inventory control and team management.
Rijo’s impressive career spans over 17 years and includes leadership roles with some of the most respected hospitality brands in the country. Prior to joining Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, he served as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage and Food & Beverage Manager at The Westin Resort & Spa Himalayas, where he played a key role in elevating the property’s dining experiences and operational performance. Earlier in his career, he was associated with The Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and held various positions across several prestigious properties, including Trident Bandra Kurla, Trident Udaipur and Trident Cochin.
A graduate in hotel management from Regency College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Hyderabad, Rijo has also completed the Executive Development Programme and Manager Development Programme from the Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development in New Delhi.
