The hospitality and dining arm of the Bharti family office has announced the appointment of Rohan Pewekar as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This strategic move is aimed at driving the expansion of the group’s restaurant business and strengthening its portfolio of global brands within the Indian market.

In his new role, Pewekar will lead the strategic direction and operations for several internationally acclaimed dining brands managed by the group, including:

P.F. Chang’s
Olive Garden

His primary focus will be on accelerating brand expansion, enhancing the guest experience, and building high-performance teams to support the group's next phase of growth in India’s rapidly evolving dining segment.

Experience and Background

Rohan Pewekar brings nearly 20 years of leadership experience in strategy, finance, and operations across the consumer-facing sector.

Recent Role: Before joining the Bharti family office, he served as the Managing Director for Pizza Hut (Indian Subcontinent) at Yum! Brands, where he oversaw operations across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.
Previous Tenure: He also served as the Chief Strategy and Finance Officer for Pizza Hut India.
Earlier Career: His professional background includes significant stints at Samsung Electronics and Accenture Strategy Consulting, where he specialized in market entry, brand launches, and digital transformation.
Education: He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta and The Wharton School.
