Maishaa Mukadam joins Tourism Australia as the Business Development Manager - India

Tourism Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Maishaa Mukadam as the new  Business Development Manager – India. Ms. Mukadam is based in the Tourism Australia office in  Mumbai and recently commenced in the role. 

Ms Mukadam brings over 17 years of extensive experience in destination marketing, travel  distribution, and business events (MICE) to the team. Her impressive career includes key roles at  organisations such as the Singapore Tourism Board, Thomas Cook, GlobalTix, Cipla Pharmaceuticals,  Fountainhead, and Apavou Hotels. 

In her new role at Tourism Australia Ms Mukadam is responsible for distribution, partnerships with  key distribution and aviation partners, Business Events and the promotion of the award-winning  Aussie Specialist Program. 

India is one of Australia’s fastest growing inbound tourism markets and according to Tourism  Research Australia’s forecasts it is expected to continue to grow to reach almost 650,000 a year by  2030.
