Sushma Khichar is the General Manager at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway, bringing with her over 18 years of professional experience in the service industry. She has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in driving revenues, enhancing guest service, and optimizing overall support functions throughout her distinguished career.

Ms. Khichar began her journey with Marriott International in 2006 and has since held several senior management roles, where she showcased exemplary decision-making abilities and operational excellence. She holds a Diploma in Travel & Tourism along with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Rajasthan.

Her hospitality career commenced as a Front Office Assistant at The Oberoi, Mumbai. Over the years, she has gained extensive experience with renowned hospitality brands and properties including Aloft Bengaluru Cessna Business Park, Bengaluru Marriott Hotel Whitefield, JW Marriott Mussoorie, JW Marriott Chandigarh, Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai, and The Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre, Mumbai.

Prior to assuming her current role, Ms. Khichar served as the Cluster General Manager at Courtyard and Fairfield by Marriott Bengaluru Outer Ring Road.

Her areas of expertise include strategic business planning, P&L management, guest relationship building, pre-opening operations, and team building.

Throughout her career, she has received several prestigious accolades, including the General Manager of the Year Award for Spirit to Serve our Guests APEC 2020 from Marriott International. Her proven pre-opening expertise has also played a significant role in the successful launch of multiple Marriott properties.
