ELE|NA Brings Its Maldives-Born Wellness Model to Rajasthan with Ananta Ajabgarh Sanctuary

Indian resorts are increasingly treating wellness as a revenue driver rather than an amenity, and ELE|NA is moving to capitalise. The Maldives-born luxury wellness and spa brand of Atmosphere Wellness Pvt. Ltd. has announced a partnership with Ananta Spa & Resort, Ajabgarh to operate the resort’s wellness sanctuary under the ELE|NA Ayur identity. It is the first property in a wider partnership with Ananta and marks the next phase of ELE|NA’s growth in India.

Positioned as a drive-to escape within reach of Delhi and Jaipur, ELE|NA Ayur at Ajabgarh pairs ELE|NA’s spa management expertise and nature-led philosophy with Ananta’s resort in the Aravalli foothills. The brand will run the sanctuary end to end, from concept, programming and treatment design to team training and daily operations.

The two-storey sanctuary has nine treatment rooms, a twinned hydrothermal circuit, a Meditation Hall, a movement pavilion and a salon, organised around ELE|NA’s Pillars of Vitality. Programming spans TouchFlow massage and bodywork, ReFine skin health, BodyFit movement and breathwork, SoulVibe sound and water therapies, SleepSync sleep experiences and FoodDelight conscious nutrition. Signature spaces include a SleepSync Room for hammock sound baths, yoga nidra and guided rest, a Contrast Therapy Suite with ice baths and warm jacuzzis, a sound-healing hall and HydroTherm dry-flotation massage.

The signature treatments are inspired by the elements, including Inner Fire Awakening, Grounding Earth Ritual, Flowing Water Therapy and Sacred Wood Restoration, while the menu draws on Jaipur’s traditions with the Jaipur-Inspired Heart & Grounding Ritual, a Desert Glow ubtan body polish and a Camel Milk nourishing wrap. Sound journeys include Fort Echoes and Sound of the Hills, and couples can book private journeys such as Ever After and the 180-minute Sacred Together. ELE|NA’s own product houses, ELE|NA Essentia and Philosophia Botanica, will be used across treatments and retail.

Beyond the treatment rooms, guests can try forest bathing, guided nature walks, starry-sky and moon meditation, floating meditation and sound healing. A four-week Elemental Vitality calendar will move through Earth, Water, Fire and Air, with activities such as Aravalli nature walks, pottery, kintsugi, stargazing and tree planting, the last contributing to the Ananta group’s annual planting of 50,000 trees across its properties.

“Ananta and ELE|NA share an ambition to make wellness a defining part of the guest experience. Few settings give you as much to work with as Ajabgarh: the forest, the hills, the dark skies. Our task is simply to open the door to all of it and to hold the sanctuary to a standard guests will travel for. We look forward to opening it and to the properties that follow,” said Heidi Grimwood, Senior Vice President of ELE|NA.

“Ajabgarh was built around the land it stands on. The villas are grouped by element, most of the thirty acres is left as landscape and the fort on the ridge has been there far longer than we have. A wellness sanctuary belongs in a setting like this. ELE|NA works to a standard we recognise and Ajabgarh is the first of several properties we expect to develop together,” said Mukund Goyal, Chairman, Ananta Hotels & Resorts.

Ananta Spa & Resort, Ajabgarh is a 30-acre resort in the western Aravalli foothills, 100 km from Jaipur at the edge of the Sariska corridor. Its 135 villas are grouped into four clusters named after the elements, Earth, Lagoon, Bamboo and Fire, with architecture and interiors by Scarlett Designs. The resort was named Readers’ Choice, Best Lifestyle Wellness Resort, at the GlobalSpa Awards 2026.
