Subuthi Spa Introduces Kodai Megha Sparsha at Sterling's Kodaikanal Resorts

Subuthi Spa at Sterling Kodai Lake and Sterling Kodai Valley has introduced Kodai Megha Sparsha, a destination-inspired wellness ritual built around Nilgiri eucalyptus and cocoa. The name means “the gentle touch of the clouds”, and the therapy is designed to bring Kodaikanal’s cool mountain climate, mist and greenery into the treatment room through aroma, texture and touch.

The ritual pairs the fresh, invigorating notes of Nilgiri eucalyptus with the warm, comforting character of cocoa and chocolate. Sterling positions the combination as particularly suited to the hill station’s cool setting, with trained spa therapists delivering the treatment at both Kodaikanal properties.

Kodai Megha Sparsha extends Subuthi’s Localised Therapy concept, which draws on the natural ingredients and distinctive character of each destination rather than offering only standard spa menus. The idea is to give guests a sensory link to the place they are visiting, alongside conventional treatments.

“At Sterling, we believe that the most memorable holiday experiences are those that create a meaningful connection with the destination. Through Subuthi’s Localised Therapy concept, we aim to bring the unique character of each location into our wellness offerings, to create an experience that allows guests to connect with the destination through their senses. It is a big step towards making wellness an integral part of the overall holiday experience,” said Anupam Dutta, Chief Marketing Officer, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd.

Guests staying at Sterling Kodai Lake and Sterling Kodai Valley can book Kodai Megha Sparsha at Subuthi Spa. Subuthi’s stated philosophy is “Relax. Reset. Rejuvenate.”, and the brand blends Ayurvedic treatments with international therapies across Sterling’s resort network. Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited operates 83 resorts, hotels and retreats across more than 67 destinations in India and is a wholly owned, independently managed subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India) Limited.
