Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, managed by Shanti Hospitality Management Services, recently announced the promotion of Suresh Kumar to Director of Rooms. He comes with a broad spectrum of knowledge and an experience of over a decade in the hospitality industry, where he has worked in both the Indian and International markets.
Kumar has been an integral part of the pre-opening team at Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort since November 2018 as the Front Office Manager.
In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for the overall functioning of the rooms, front office operations, and will also spearhead various functions such as Guest Services and in-house reservations team.

A graduate in Hotel Management, from AIHM Chandigarh, he hails from the beautiful town of Shahpur in the scenic Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh. He began his career in 2007 as the Guest Service Associate at Marriott Welcomhotel, New Delhi and has also been associated with brands like The Leela Palace Kempinski, Bangalore, Dusit – Devarana Hotel Delhi, Aloft and Carlson group in the past. His last assignment was with Dunes by Al Nahda in Oman as Director of Rooms & Head of Operations.
