Harish Kumar Takes Charge of Rooms at The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace

The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace has appointed Harish Kumar as Director of Rooms. The appointment was announced on 30 September 2026, and it puts the hotel's Front Office, Housekeeping, Spa & Wellness and guest experience initiatives under one leader.

For hotel operators, it is a reminder of how broad the rooms division brief has become. Wellness and guest experience now sit alongside the traditional front-of-house and housekeeping functions, and the hotel has chosen someone with a front office background to run them.

Harish brings over 15 years of experience across luxury and upper-upscale hospitality, with expertise in guest experience, operational excellence, team development and business performance. He has held leadership roles across India and the Middle East, with experience spanning Rooms Division, Front Office operations, guest experience and commercial performance.

Before this appointment, he served as Director of Rooms at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat and as Front Office Manager at NH Collection Ibn Battuta Gate in Dubai. He was also recognised among Hozpitality's Best 30 Power Front Office Leaders in the Middle East 2023 for his contribution to service excellence, innovation and guest-centric leadership.

In his new role, Harish will lead all aspects of the Rooms Division. He will focus on enhancing service standards, driving operational efficiencies, developing talent and supporting the hotel's continued commercial growth and market leadership.

The 427-room Westin Hyderabad Mindspace is located in Raheja Mindspace IT Park and has a 20,000 sq. ft. convention area that can host up to 700 guests, along with six restaurants including Kangan, Prego and Seasonal Tastes.
