GTDC launches curated Hampi tour in association with Nature Trails by Thomas Cook

The Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), in association with Nature Trails by Thomas Cook, has announced the launch of a specially curated Hampi Tour from May 1, 2026, offering travellers from Goa and beyond an immersive journey into one of India’s most iconic heritage destinations, Hampi, located in North Karnataka.

The initiative is part of GTDC’s ongoing efforts to expand its portfolio of experiential travel offerings and provide curated outbound experiences that go beyond conventional itineraries.

Tour focuses on heritage and cultural experiences

The tour will take travellers to Hampi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, known for its magnificent ruins, ancient temples, and rich history of the Vijayanagara Empire. Designed as a cultural and experiential itinerary, the tour will include an array of curated activities including guided visits to iconic monuments and heritage sites, immersive storytelling experiences, comfortable travel and stay, expert-led insights into the site’s history, architecture, and local culture.

Opportunity for tourists and local Goans

Tourists staying in Goa can extend their stay and visit Hampi through this curated tour. The initiative also offers an opportunity for local Goans wishing to visit the World Heritage Site. Goans can avail themselves of this GTDC special tour during their holidays and explore the region’s rich history.
