Varun Group Chairman V. Prabhu Kishore Receives IHC-IIHM Outstanding Contribution to Hospitality Industry Award 2026-27

V. Prabhu Kishore, Founder & Chairman of the Varun Group, has received the IHC-IIHM Outstanding Contribution to Hospitality Industry Award 2026-27, presented by the International Hospitality Council (IHC), London, in association with the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM).

The award recognises his entrepreneurial vision, his sustained commitment to hospitality and his role in strengthening the hospitality and tourism landscape of South India. It also acknowledges his contribution to raising hospitality standards, creating employment, advancing destination-led tourism and supporting the region’s economic growth. The award was presented by representatives of IHC and IIHM.

Under his leadership, the Varun Group has grown into a diversified business with interests across hospitality, automobiles, infrastructure, real estate and allied sectors. Its hospitality portfolio includes Accor-managed properties such as Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, The Bheemili Resort Managed by Accor and Novotel Vijayawada Varun, which serve leisure, business and MICE travellers.
