Pune, India: Hyatt Regency Pune & Residences is pleased to announce the promotion of Gaurav Bisht as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage. In his new role, Gaurav will oversee the hotel’s food and beverage operations, guest experience initiatives, revenue strategies, and team development programs across all dining outlets and event services.

With over a decade of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Gaurav has consistently demonstrated excellence in operational leadership, guest engagement, and strategic planning. Prior to this promotion, he served as Food & Beverage Manager at Hyatt Regency Pune, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing customer satisfaction, implementing innovative dining concepts, and driving revenue growth through successful promotions and events.

Gaurav’s journey with Hyatt Regency Pune has been marked by remarkable achievements. During his tenure as Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and Restaurant & Bar Manager, he successfully led various operational initiatives, including staff training programs, sales strategy execution, cost optimization, and guest experience enhancement. His ability to blend operational efficiency with exceptional hospitality has significantly contributed to the hotel’s continued success.

Before joining Hyatt Regency Pune, Gaurav gained valuable experience with renowned hospitality brands, including Marriott International’s The Westin Gurgaon and The Grand, New Delhi. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his leadership skills, innovative business strategies, and dedication to delivering memorable guest experiences. He has also been awarded “Best Employee” multiple times and has successfully managed large-scale events serving over 500 guests per meal period.

Gaurav holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration from the Delhi Institute of Hotel Management. In his elevated role, he aims to further strengthen Hyatt Regency Pune’s food and beverage offerings while continuing to foster a culture of excellence and guest-centric service.

With extensive experience across several esteemed hospitality brands, Peter’s journey reflects his exceptional ability to lead and innovate within diverse dining destinations. Most recently, he served as the Director of Restaurants and Bars at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. Prior to this, he held key positions across renowned hospitality establishments including Marriott International, Accor Hotels, Essar Group, Hyatt Hotels and The Taj.

In his new role, Peter along with the Director of Food & Beverage will ensure ways to refine dining concepts, optimize operations and craft unique guest experiences that align with the hotel’s commitment to luxury and exceptional service.
