Alma Resort Cam Ranh Welcomes Frederic Savoye as Chief Commercial Officer

CAM RANH, Vietnam (April 2025) – A seasoned hospitality professional with more than two decades’ experience working for some of the industry’s biggest names in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the United States, has been appointed chief commercial officer at Alma Resort Cam Ranh.

French national Frederic Savoye joins the award-winning 30-hectare beachfront resort on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula after working in the Middle East as vice president of sales and marketing for Fairmont Raffles Hotels International in the Middle East, Africa and India, and Hilton Worldwide’s regional commercial director for both Western and Southern Europe as well as Eastern Europe, Russia and Turkey.

He was Kempinski Hotels’ country director of sales and marketing for Egypt, and Sofitel Luxury Hotels’ vice president of sales, pricing, distribution and revenue for Northern, Central and Eastern Europe.

Savoye studied an undergraduate degree in economy and management sciences and a master’s degree in finance, marketing and management sciences with the University of Paris in the mid to late 90s. During the noughties, he was the Sofitel Bucharest World Trade Center’s room division director before progressing to director of sales and marketing roles at Novotel New York Times Square and for AccorHotels in the Czech Republic. 

In his new role with Alma, he will head Alma’s Commercial Division, overseeing sales, marketing and reservations.

Alma Names Ngo Thi Thu Ngan as Director of Human Resources at Alma Resort Cam Ranh

CAM RANH, Vietnam (March 2025) – Ngo Thi Thu Ngan, a hospitality professional with two decades’ experience mostly working for five-star hotels and resorts, has been appointed director of human resources at Alma Resort Cam Ranh.

The Vietnamese national joins the award-winning 30-hectare beachfront resort on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula after working as the director of talents and culture at nearby Movenpick Resort Cam Ranh.

Before that, she was the human resource director at Wyndham Grand KN Paradise Cam Ranh and the human resource director at Glow Scenia Nha Trang Bay Hotel.

She has also worked as a human resources manager at Sunrise Nha Trang Beach Hotel & Spa, an assistant director at Tan Viet Corporate, and as an assistant director at Khanh Hoa Trading and Investment Company.

She studied a Bachelor of Law majoring in international and common law at Ho Chi Minh City’s University of Law, and worked in law before moving into hospitality. She has also studied numerous certificates.

Alma Resort’s managing director Herbert Laubichler-Pichler said she was an excellent fit to oversee the resort’s workforce.

CAM RANH, Vietnam (May 2023) – Alma Resort has appointed Hoang Nguyen Minh Anh, a hospitality professional with almost two decades of wellness experience at some of Vietnam’s leading resort spas, as spa manager.

Born and bred in Vietnam’s mountainous Dalat, Minh Anh joins the 30-hectare family resort’s Le Spa after working as the spa manager on the Westin Resort & Spa Cam Ranh’s pre-opening team and at The Anam Cam Ranh.

Prior to that, she was the spa manager at nearby Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel & Spa and spa supervisor at InterContinental Nha Trang.

After studying massage and anatomy at Khanh Hoa Medical College, Minh Anh started her career as a spa therapist at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay before working as a therapist at Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa and Evason Ana Mandara Nha Trang for a total of eight years.

Her CV also features a stint in India setting up Six Senses Spa at Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort.

Minh Anh said she put her skills in client service management, employee coaching, problem solving, creative thinking, budget administration and planning services to good use in her new role at Le Spa.
