Clarks Group Strengthens Leadership with New General Manager Appointments in Haridwar and Vadodara

The Clarks Group of Hotels has announced the appointment of seasoned hospitality professionals to lead two of its key properties — The Clarks Safari, Haridwar and The Clarks Collection, Vadodara.

Mr. Krishan K has been named General Manager at The Clarks Safari, Haridwar. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Krishan has held leadership positions with renowned brands including Lords Hotels and The Clarks Hotels. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Unique Resort & Lifestyle in Valsad, Gujarat. His expertise spans across marketing, human resources, policy design, property signings, and strategic execution. He holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management.

At The Clarks Collection, Vadodara, Mr. Hiren Sonavane has been appointed as General Manager. Hiren brings 12 years of operational and managerial experience, having most recently served as Operations Manager at Sunday Hotels, Vadodara. Known for his ability to lead large teams and drive successful operational strategies, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Catering and Hotel Management from the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

He was initially managing the Sunday Hotel in Vadodara, and later he managed the opening and management of DanCenter Company's luxury villas, apartments, and the Sunday Hotel in Goa. 

Speaking on the appointments, the Clarks Group stated that the new leadership will further strengthen the brand’s presence in the Haridwar and Vadodara markets, enhancing guest experiences and supporting the group’s growth strategy in these culturally significant destinations.




Clarks Collection Appoints Mr. Nilesh Shukla as Associate Director of HR - Corporate

Clarks Collection is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Nilesh Shukla as Associate Director of HR - Corporate. With over a decade of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Shukla has worked with renowned hotel groups such as Taj, Carlson Rezidor Group, Millennium Hotels & Resorts, Marriott Hotels, and The Palms Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait.

Bringing a wealth of expertise in recruitment, training & development, payroll management, and human resource operations, he will play a pivotal role in strengthening Clarks Collection’s HR framework. In his new capacity, he will be responsible for designing HR policies, ensuring legal compliance across all properties, and enhancing employee engagement through structured training programs and welfare initiatives.

Before joining Clarks Collection, Mr. Shukla served as Talent Acquisition Manager at The Palms Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait, where he successfully implemented employee retention programs, streamlined recruitment processes, collaborated with government relations officers for documentation and visa processing, managed budgeting, and oversaw performance appraisals.
