Bengaluru, May 2025: Ojas A. Vagal has been appointed as the Multi-Property Director of Human Resources at Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel & Convention Center, Marriott Executive Apartments UB City, and The Artiste, Kochi – a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

With over 19 years of extensive experience in human resources management, learning & development, and hotel operations, Ojas brings a rich blend of strategic insight and people-centric leadership to his new role. He will be responsible for steering the full spectrum of HR and talent development functions across the three hotels, playing a pivotal role in shaping a highly engaged, motivated, and future-ready workforce.

Prior to this appointment, Ojas served as Director of Human Resources at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, and Assistant Director of People & Culture at Four Seasons Hotel Bengaluru at Embassy ONE, where he successfully led initiatives in recruitment, performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, training, and policy development.

Renowned for his strong interpersonal skills, creative thinking, and ability to nurture high-performing teams, Ojas will now provide strategic leadership in key areas such as compensation management, training and development, staff relations, and retention strategies across the Marriott multi-property cluster.

With an outstanding career over 20 years, Chef Sujit brings an extensive wealth of experience and expertise, promising to enhance the hotel’s culinary offerings.

Chef Sujit has worked at some of the country’s most renowned establishments, including J.W. Marriott Goa, Courtyard Marriott Gorakhpur (Pre-Opening Task Force), J.W. Marriott Mussoorie, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi Maldives, InterContinental Hotel Abu Dhabi, J.W. Marriott Hotel Dubai, U.A.E., Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa, Kuwait, and The Oberoi Hotels.

His illustrious career has earned him several accolades, including Manager of the Month at Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Best Performer Award at Oberoi Grand, a Gold Medal in Wedding Cake at the HORECA Culinary Competition, and top honors in Fret Work at the West Bengal competition.
