The Orchid Pune Names Rajat Rathore Assistant Food and Beverage Manager

The Orchid Pune has appointed Rajat Rathore as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager. He has more than a decade of experience with international hospitality brands, covering F&B management, banquet operations and guest experience.

The role

He oversees food and beverage operations, including banquet and restaurant services, at the 386-room hotel, which has four dining outlets and 110,000 sq ft of banquet and convention space. His remit covers revenue growth through upselling and guest engagement, team performance and training, service standards, and inventory and cost control.

Career

He joins from Ikshana Spa & Resort, Lonavala, where he was Banquet Manager, running banquet operations and overseeing luxury weddings and large events. Before that he led banquet operations at Hyatt Centric, Dehradun, and supported large-scale events at Marriott Resort & Spa, Goa. He began in F&B service at The Pride Plaza Hotel, Ahmedabad, followed by roles at ibis and Novotel, Bengaluru, and Radisson, Udaipur.
