OZEN Collection Takes Two Top Honours at the 33rd World Travel Awards

Two Maldives resorts under THE OZEN COLLECTION have taken top honours at the 33rd World Travel Awards. OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI was named Maldives’ Leading Luxury Hotel Villa for the fourth consecutive year, while OZEN LIFE MAADHOO won Indian Ocean’s Leading Villa Resort for the second time, having previously taken the same title in 2024.

The awards were announced on 30 September 2026. For Bolifushi, the win continues a streak that the resort says underlines its ultra-luxury positioning. Its Royal RESERVE villa spans 3,000 square metres and includes a private beach, a large pool, a personal spa treatment room with dedicated therapists and living spaces, with 24-hour private butler service, a personal chef and direct lagoon access among the privileges offered under the RESERVE Experience™.

“This extraordinary recognition celebrates our passionate pursuit of crafting unforgettable journeys. To be honoured for four consecutive years fills us with immense joy and strengthens our commitment to perfecting the art of meaningful luxury,” said Abnash Kumar, General Manager of OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI.

At OZEN LIFE MAADHOO, the Indian Ocean villa-resort title sits alongside the resort’s INDULGENCE™ Plan, which includes unlimited access to gourmet dining across seven restaurants, premium beverages, curated excursions and signature spa journeys. The underwater restaurant M6m, described as the first of its kind in the South Malé Atoll, remains a centrepiece of the dining offer.

“This award is a testament to the dedication of our entire team. Every aspect of OZEN LIFE MAADHOO is designed to offer a genuine connection to the beauty and culture of the Maldives,” said Mei P. Pun, General Manager of OZEN LIFE MAADHOO.

The World Travel Awards titles add to a recent run of recognition. Both resorts were named among the top ten per cent of hotels worldwide in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2025, with OZEN LIFE MAADHOO also placed in the Best of the Best category for the top one per cent of hospitality providers. THE OZEN COLLECTION also earned joint gold for Best All-Inclusive Hotel for Families at the inaugural Junior Travel Awards 2026. OZEN RESERVE BOLIFUSHI’s ELE|NA Elements of Nature Spa was nominated as Maldives’ Best Wellness Retreat at the World Spa Awards 2025, while OZEN LIFE MAADHOO has held Green Globe Certification for three consecutive years.

THE OZEN COLLECTION is expanding beyond the Maldives, with upcoming properties in India including OZEN MANSION KOLKATA, OZEN VILLAS JAIPUR and OZEN PRIVADO GOA.
