Sterling ONE Wins B2B Tech Award as Partner Room Nights Climb 29%
/Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited (SHRL) has won the 'Smart Tech Enabled Platform of the Year 2026 – B2B' award for Sterling ONE, its in-house digital distribution platform, at the Indian Travel & Technology Summit & Awards 2026 in Delhi. The award comes as the resort company's partner business is growing quickly.
In H1 FY27 (April–September 2026), transactions across Sterling's partner and related distribution segments rose 34% year-on-year to 15,071. Room nights grew 29% to 42,645 over the same period.
What the platform does
Sterling ONE gives travel partners and corporate customers a single digital interface for Sterling's network of hotels and resorts. Users can view inventory, contracted rates and availability, and complete bookings there. Governance and process controls are built into the distribution workflows, which cuts manual intervention and lets Sterling scale distribution as the portfolio grows.
Next: circuits and MICE
Sterling is now developing the platform from a room-distribution tool into what it calls a connected travel-commerce ecosystem. Two capabilities are in pilot deployment:
Single-touch fulfilment of customised destination circuits: travel partners can create, quote, book and fulfil personalised multi-destination holidays that link Sterling properties with curated destination experiences and transport.
Instant MICE quotations and fulfilment: corporate customers and MICE partners can generate instant quotes for meetings, incentives and group travel, with an integrated workflow for booking coordination and fulfilment.
Surej Hassan, Executive Vice President & Head of Revenue Strategy & Distribution at SHRL, said: "Sterling ONE was built with a simple objective—to make Sterling easier to do business with while enabling our distribution capabilities to grow alongside our expanding hospitality network… The future of B2B distribution is not simply about selling rooms more efficiently. It is about enabling our partners to create, sell and fulfil more complete travel experiences with greater speed, simplicity and confidence."
Hassan also spoke at the summit on a panel titled 'The Future of Tourism in India & the Global Outlook – Technology, Connectivity & the Next Era of Travel'.
Sterling has a portfolio spanning more than 70 destinations in India, with over 4,000 keys operational. It is a 100% independently managed subsidiary of Thomas Cook (India) Limited and part of Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited.
