Angsana Velavaru Turns 20 and Honours 48 Long-Serving Associates

Angsana Velavaru has marked 20 years in the Maldives by putting its people at the centre of the celebration. The resort combined its 20th anniversary with Banyan Group's annual Long Service Awards on 26 October, recognising 48 associates for their years with the Group.

Among those attending were Eddy See, President and Chief Executive Officer of Banyan Group; Ho Ren Yung, Deputy Chief Executive Officer; and Andrew Jessop, Vice President, Regional Head of Operation SEA, along with the resort's management team and associates.

48 associates, 5 to 30 years

Of the 48 associates honoured, 32 were recognised for five years of service, four for 10 years, six for 15 years, four for 20 years, one for 25 years and one for 30 years.

"Long service is a meaningful reflection of the relationships we build, the values we share and the people who bring our hospitality to life every day. Behind every milestone is an individual story of commitment, teamwork and growth," said Eddy See. "As we recognise our associates' years of service, we also celebrate the dedication that continues to shape Banyan Group and create memorable experiences for our guests."

The evening was held outdoors under the open sky, with a live duo band and dinner under the stars, giving colleagues time to reconnect and share stories rather than simply collect certificates.
