101 Days of Summer: French Riviera Afternoon Tea at Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou

Perched on the 100th floor of Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou, Atrium presents the “101 Days of Summer” French Riviera Afternoon Tea, a classic French afternoon tea reimagined with a bright, modern summer twist. Drawing on traditional French techniques and the vibrant seasonal fruits of Lingnan, the experience unfolds as a series of elegant, sunlit moments.

There is something timeless about a French summer afternoon, golden light, a soft breeze, and long, lazy hours made for unhurried meals. This summer, that feeling arrives in Guangzhou.

The dessert collection captures the gentle, sun-kissed essence of the season. Each creation is rooted in French pâtisserie and built around summer fruits and refined craftsmanship. Mango Roll layers passion fruit, mango compote, mango cream, and a buttery feuilletine crust into one vibrant composition: tropical, textural, and unapologetically indulgent. Cucumber and Lemon offers a cooler, cleaner contrast, where cucumber jelly, lemon mousse, and a crisp shortcrust base come together in a dessert that feels as light as a summer breeze. Millefeuille with vanilla cream and caramelised puff pastry showcases the beauty of classic technique, while Paris‑Brest highlights the deep, nutty aroma of hazelnut praline. A delicate Strawberry Tartlet, with fresh berries and pastry cream on a dacquoise base, finishes the line‑up with a bright, refreshing flourish.

The savouries turn toward the coast, balancing richness with the fresh, aromatic spirit of the Mediterranean. Onion Soup captures the soulful warmth of the classic, with caramelised onions slow-cooked to sweetness, paired with a slice of baguette and melted Gruyère. Brandade de Morue Fritter brings the flavours of the French Riviera to the plate: salt cod whipped to a creamy purée, fried to a golden crisp, and served with a homemade salsa verde that cuts through with its bright, herbal tang.

Alongside the food, Atrium turns to local fruit for a collection of four summer drinks, including non‑alcoholic options. Bayberry Cosmopolitan gives the classic a Lingnan accent - smooth, fruit-forward, and unmistakably summery. Coconut Breeze is clean and sweet, with vodka, coconut water, green grape syrup, and a hint of cherry blossom. Wampee Virgin Mojito muddles Guangdong’s signature wampee with lime and mint over sparkling bubbles - tart, refreshing, and authentically local. Summer Lychee Fizz adds a floral, effervescent lift with homemade lychee-rose black tea syrup and soda.

And then, almost as an afterthought of pure joy, chilled ice cream makes its way through the venue, a sweet, unexpected pause in the afternoon that feels like a holiday moment all its own.

Elegant French bites, chilled drinks, and a skyline view come together in a quiet moment of escape. At Atrium, summer unfolds not in miles travelled, but in flavours savoured, one slow afternoon at a time.

Designed to set the tone for the industry, the new menu combines cosmetic innovation, specialised techniques and a holistic approach focused on personalisation and the balance between body and mind.

This latest initiative represents another step forward in the evolution of the wellness offer from the hotel, consolidating its spa as one of the most complete and sophisticated spaces in the Spanish capital. With 1,450 square metres (15,600 square feet) spread over four levels, the spa stands as the best urban wellness centre in Madrid and somewhere designed for disconnecting from the pace of daily life to reconnect with personal care.

With that in mind, the new treatment list introduces experiences that blend science, sensory stimulation and technique, raising the bar for urban wellness through rituals that offer visible results and a feeling of complete renewal.

Enriched with vitamin C of citric origin, it helps to illuminate the face, improve firmness and protect against the effects of environmental factors. The experience is accompanied by manual and aromatherapy techniques that awaken the senses to bring freshness, lightness and an immediate sensation of wellness.

Body Rituals: Detox, Energy and Reconnection

The offer is expanded to include body care with treatments designed to provide deep renewal. The Diamond Detoxifying Treatment (120 minutes) combines exfoliation, a marine algae body mask, body serum, and a draining and firming massage aimed at stimulating detoxification processes and improving the sensation of lightness and overall wellbeing. An immersive ritual that acts at both physical and sensorial levels.

The Vitamin C Revitalising Ritual (90 minutes) provides a more energising experience focused on revitalising the skin and stimulating the senses. It includes a gentle exfoliation enriched with vitamin C, followed by a moisturising wrap and a massage to encourage circulation. Its citric aromas bring freshness and vitality to leave the skin smooth, bright and deeply refreshed.

Alongside its treatments, the spa at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid offers an overall wellbeing experience that is adapted to modern lifestyles. Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai Unveils ‘Constellar’, the Name and Design Story Behind its 10,000-Square-Foot Ballroom Facility

Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai unveils ‘Constellar’, the official name and identity of its expansive 10,000-square-foot ballroom facility. This reveal marks a defining moment for the space, bringing together design, symbolism, and a distinct narrative that reflects the hotel’s architectural language and its legacy of refined hospitality.

Introduced earlier this year, the ballroom has already emerged as one of Mumbai’s most sophisticated and versatile venues for weddings, celebrations, and corporate gatherings. With the unveiling of ‘Constellar’, the space now carries a name and visual identity that deepen its presence and meaning .

The Design Story Behind Constellar

The name ‘Constellar’ is inspired by constellations, evoking a sense of connection, brilliance, and timeless beauty. The logo translates this inspiration into a refined visual form. At its core, the four-circle icon draws from the ballroom’s architectural detailing, particularly the repeated circular patterns seen at its grand entrance. These circles create a harmonious and elegant motif, bridging interior design with visual identity. A subtle star formed between the shapes reflects the idea of constellations in the night sky, reinforcing the name. The four circles also reference the Four Seasons legacy, embedding the brand’s essence into the design itself. The name and logo position ‘Constellar’ as a space where moments align and celebrations come together with effortless grace.

Constellar, inspired by constellations, redefines how we envision celebrations coming together with intention, beauty, and meaning. With Constellar, we have given our ballroom a distinct character rooted in contemporary design, advanced technology, culinary craftsmanship, and a passionate team. It is ultimately brought to life by our esteemed guests, who make each celebration unique and memorable,” shares Nitesh Gandhi, General Manager, Four Seasons Hotels Mumbai

A Ballroom Designed for Grand Celebrations

‘Constellar’ reflects the many elements that come together to create something truly extraordinary. Each star, formed through the interplay of design, represents what makes the space distinctive. Located in the heart of Worli, the 10,000-square-foot event facility combines scale with elegance, beginning with a 500-square-foot private arrival foyer that leads into a 1,300-square-foot pre-function area, and culminating in a 7,000-square-foot banqueting space anchored by a 5,700-square-foot pillarless hall with a 19-foot ceiling. Modern and contemporary interiors set a sophisticated tone, while a 1,000-square-foot LED wall, digital signage, and modular configurations introduce advanced technology and creative flexibility. Seamless connectivity to The Great Room ensures sleek transitions across weddings, soirées, and large-scale launches.

Every event is shaped by Four Season’s signature approach to personalised service, where dedicated specialists and meticulous details ensure each celebration feels intimate and memorable. With ‘Constellar’, this vision is brought to life through refined design and architecture, complemented by a deeper sense of meanin
