After opening in July this year Fairfield by Marriott Mumbai celebrated its first-ever cake-mixing ceremony in 2 different styles on 19th November. 

The traditional cake mixed with nuts and spirits was attended by celebrities like Rochelle Rao, Keith Sequeira, Tanaz Irani, Charu Asopa and  many more. 

There was a special cake-mixing ceremony organized for children which was alcohol free and kids were seen in joyous mood of Christmas, along with kids from Jamuna Bai school this ceremony was attended by celebrity child artists including Ruhanika Dhawan and Aakriti Sharma.

Marriott International, Inc., today announced plans to expand its select service portfolio in Greater China with the expected addition of 30 hotels in the segment by the end of 2023. The additions are fueled by the strong demand for Marriott’s select service accommodations in emerging destinations and complement an existing portfolio of more than 460 properties in the region. Marriott’s select service portfolio currently includes the following brands spanning across 67 cities in Greater China: Moxy Hotels, Fairfield by Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, AC Hotels by Marriott, Aloft Hotels, and Element Hotels.

Marriott’s portfolio of 30 extraordinary hotel brands offers unique brand choices to capture changes in consumer needs and characteristics across different destinations. The expansion of the select service portfolio in the region will elevate consumers’ travel choices in China’s second-and third-tier cities, such as Foshan and Changchun, while expanding its presence in first-tier cities like Shanghai.

After two years of renovation, we finally achieved it. Before pandemic hit we had 180 degree a buffet restaurant. We renovated the entire second floor and came up with four outlets, Progressive Indian Cuisine Restaurant Musaafer, FIRIN  an all day dine in which is open for 24hrs which was not earlier. We also have Pan Asian Restaurant Goma & Tipple Bar so we were excited. Cake mixing was the first F&B event we did in FIRIN & It was good".

We had to order all these ingredients which are rarely available in the market and resourced it from a very good vendor & took care of the quality. Second thing is we do a lot of preparation for it like cutting, chopping and everything even the spices has to be blended well. Roasting happens with the spices too and then we blend and keep them seperately. The liquor part is also used that's how we go with this Preperation.

The Gold Label race will return to its record-breaking fast and flat course, perfectly situated in the heart of the nature-based Emirate, kicking off on Marjan Island Boulevard, right opposite the DoubleTree by Hilton and the vibrant Race Village. Runners will take to the streets of the spectacular Marjan Island, passing all major hotel destinations as they head along Sheikh Mohammed bin Salem Road, and circle through Al Amwaj Avenue, before heading back to the starting point to cross the finish line. Along the route, the race will see participants take in unrivaled views of Ras Al Khaimah’s serene, white sandy beaches, overlooking the Arabian coastlines and other landmarks.

Hilton Goa Resort embraced the festive cheer with a joyous cake mixing ceremony




Goa, November 2022: Hilton Goa Resort embraced the Yuletide with the traditional cake mixing ceremony which marks the beginning of the festive season on the 22nd of October 2022. The starry affair was graced with Goan media, influencers, content creators along with the guests, who called it one of the best cake mixing events in Goa. 



The soirée began with a signature dance performance by the resort's management and staff followed by a special performance by the saxophonist.
The guests donned aprons, gloves, and chef hats as they excitedly immersed themselves in creating the merry mixture by combining the spices, nuts, and spirited beverages. The evening saw an assorted menu curated by the culinary team at the resort comprising palatable small bites and refreshments which were savored by the guests. A dedicated bar was set up by Maka Zai for guests to relish which was the perfect addition to the sundowner event.
