Hyatt Ahmedabad is proud to announce the appointment of Gaurav Chandna as its new General Manager. With over two decades of distinguished experience in the hospitality industry, Gaurav brings a powerful combination of operational expertise, people-first leadership, and an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction.

A graduate in Hotel Management, Gaurav began his journey with Hyatt as a Guest Service Associate at Hyatt Regency Delhi. From these humble beginnings, he has built a career marked by continuous growth, innovation, and excellence. His leadership journey has included pivotal roles at Hyatt Regency Delhi and, most recently, as Director of Operations at Grand Hyatt Gurgaon.

Throughout his career, Gaurav has been instrumental in launching award-winning restaurants, elevating service standards, and fostering a culture of employee engagement. His efforts have consistently translated into enhanced guest experiences and high-performing teams.

What truly distinguishes Gaurav is his authentic and empathetic leadership style. He leads not from a podium, but from the heart—creating safe, energizing spaces where team members feel valued, heard, and inspired to excel. His approach is rooted in trust, inclusivity, and collaboration, making him a natural catalyst for positive change.

Outside of work, Gaurav finds joy in spending time with his family, especially moments shared with his daughter, whose laughter and energy remind him of life’s true priorities. Few know that cooking is his personal sanctuary—a creative outlet where he finds calm and connection, especially when preparing meals for loved ones.
