Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar has appointed Santosh Kumar Jha to strengthen the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations. Bringing experience across leading hospitality brands, including Hyatt Hotels, and premium independent properties, Jha has developed expertise in multi-outlet F&B management, service excellence, revenue enhancement and team development.

Focus on guest experience and operational efficiency

In his new role, Jha will oversee the hotel’s Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banquets and in-room dining. His responsibilities will include enhancing guest experiences, strengthening service standards, optimising operational efficiency and driving revenue growth while ensuring consistency with brand standards and the hotel’s commitment to hospitality excellence.

His areas of expertise include restaurant and bar operations, menu engineering, cost optimisation, associate development and strategic revenue management.

Experience across hospitality brands

Prior to joining Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar, Jha served as Food & Beverage Manager at The Landmark Towers, Kanpur. His professional journey also includes leadership roles at Gulmohar Royal’s Hotels Pvt. Ltd. in Cooch Behar and Soul Vacation Resort & Spa in Goa.

He has also worked with Hyatt Regency Mumbai and Hyatt Pune, gaining exposure to luxury hotel operations and international hospitality standards.
