Atmosphere Core has appointed Neeraj Seth as Assistant Vice President – Communication, bringing more than 25 years of international experience across luxury hospitality, real estate, consumer technology, marketing and strategic communications.

With a career spanning Africa, Asia, India and the Middle East, Neeraj has held senior leadership positions with global and regional organisations, leading integrated marketing and communications initiatives across diverse markets. His expertise includes strategic communications, public relations, media relations, brand positioning, digital communications, partnerships and major launches.

Focus on Maldives and Sri Lanka operations

At Atmosphere Core, Neeraj will lead strategic communication initiatives across the company’s Maldives and Sri Lanka operations, focusing on media relations, corporate communications and brand storytelling. He will work with leadership and resort teams to identify and amplify the distinctive stories, experiences and people behind Atmosphere Core and its brands.

Experience across hospitality and communications

Hospitality has been a significant focus of Neeraj’s recent career, spanning luxury resorts, real estate and strategic communications. He has led pre-openings, launches, rebranding and integrated campaigns, alongside international media engagement and brand partnerships across key EMEIA markets. He has also represented global hospitality and lifestyle brands as an official media spokesperson.

Mohamed Mansour brings over two decades of hospitality experience to lead operations at the two Maldives resorts.

Atmosphere Core announces the appointment of Mohamed Mansour as General Manager of OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, strengthening the leadership of two distinctive island resorts within the COLOURS OF OBLU portfolio.

With more than 21 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Mansour brings a wealth of operational expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of guest-centric service. His career began in Front Office and progressed through the Room Division, allowing him to develop a comprehensive understanding of hotel operations, service excellence, guest experience, and team leadership.

Throughout his career, Mohamed has held key roles across renowned international hospitality groups, gaining diverse experience across a wide range of properties, markets, cultures, and operational environments.

Recognised for his hands-on leadership style, people-focused approach, and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Mohamed combines strong operational discipline with a genuine passion for developing teams and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Leading operations across two resorts

In his new role, Mohamed will oversee the operations of OBLU XPERIENCE Ailafushi and OBLU SELECT Lobigili, bringing his extensive operational experience and leadership approach to both resorts.

At the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts brand, Mr Mario Stanic takes the helm at RAAYA by Atmosphere, and Mr Maurice Van Den Bosch moves to lead VARU by Atmosphere. Under COLOURS OF OBLU, Mr Brett Craig Castleman joins as General Manager of OBLU SELECT Sangeli.

Mr Mario Stanic takes the helm as General Manager at RAAYA by Atmosphere. Shaped by an Australian upbringing and education, Mario has spent over three decades honing his craft across leading luxury resorts around the world, from the Maldives and the Indian Ocean to Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific. Renowned for his ability to reimagine guest journeys, he champions creativity, innovation, and emotional connection in hospitality. Mario’s leadership style blends operational discipline with empathy, empowering his teams to deliver experiences that surprise and delight. “True hospitality is about emotion. With over 25 years of international hospitality experience across the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and the Caribbean, he is known for turning strategy into measurable success and consistently motivating multicultural teams to deliver exceptional results. Mr Brett Craig Castleman joins OBLU SELECT Sangeli as General Manager, bringing over 27 years of global hospitality experience. A true citizen of the world, he blends his South African warmth and intuitive leadership with deep operational insight honed across luxury resorts in Africa, the Indian Ocean, and the Caribbean. Known for his collaborative and empowering management style, Brett believes in creating heartfelt experiences that connect people and place. “Great hospitality begins with genuine connection. Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch returns to the Atmosphere Core family as General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere, while Milan Mookerjee joins as Vice President of Human Resources. These appointments reflect Atmosphere Core’s ongoing commitment to enhancing guest experiences and fostering a people-centric culture across its portfolio of three brands and nine resorts.

Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch Returns as General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere

Born in Australia, Maurice Lucien Van Den Bosch draws from the country’s renowned laid-back yet dynamic culture in his leadership style, fostering a spirit of inclusivity, adventure, and warm hospitality. He brings over 24 years of expertise in resort management, with a demonstrated ability to exceed profit targets, cost-effectively develop new projects, and lead culturally diverse teams with motivation and efficiency. 

Maurice’s extensive experience includes leadership roles at some of the world’s top hospitality brands in the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Caribbean. A familiar face within the Atmosphere Core family, Maurice has served as General Manager at both OZEN LIFE MAADHOO and Atmosphere Kanifushi.

As the General Manager of RAAYA by Atmosphere, Maurice will leverage his deep understanding of the brand to lead the resort with a focus on anticipating, crafting, and elevating guest experiences. Milan Mookerjee Appointed as Vice President of Human Resources, Atmosphere Core

Veteran Human Resources leader, Milan Mookerjee will oversee talent management and employee growth initiatives across the Atmosphere Core's resorts in the Maldives. With over 15 years of industry experience, Milan is a seasoned professional known for aligning HR initiatives with business goals and fostering a human-centric culture.

Reflecting on his approach to human resources, Milan said, "Leadership is a privilege that we owe to our team. Intentionality with direction and purpose drives results, and I am committed to fostering a culture that empowers our people to grow and succeed. In hospitality, success begins with a motivated, engaged workforce, and I believe in creating an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and inspired to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Before joining Atmosphere Core, Milan served as Head of Human Resources and Training at Encalm Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., where he led HR and training functions to drive business growth. He has also held several HR leadership roles at prominent companies in India, with a proven ability to develop talent and design learning programmes tailored to business needs.
