The appointment of Manish Jha as general manager at Anantara Downtown Dubai reflects a strategic push to enhance luxury offerings and sustainability

Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel, part of Minor Hotels, has appointed Manish Jha as general manager, signalling a strategic focus on enhancing guest experiences at the luxury urban property.

With over 20 years in the hospitality sector, Jha brings a wealth of experience, having worked with esteemed brands for much of his career, primarily within Minor Hotels.

Jha’s tenure with Anantara began in 2006 as director of food and beverage for several Maldives properties. He has since held key leadership roles across notable hotels, including Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort and the NH Collection Dubai The Palm, where he successfully launched the brand’s first Middle Eastern property.

In this new role, Jha will manage all operations at Anantara Downtown Dubai, enhancing its stature as a premier luxury lifestyle destination in the city.

Located in Dubai’s prominent business district, Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel comprises 252 newly renovated luxury rooms and suites, with updated interiors that embody a tropical serenity.

The Anantara Royal Suite with Pool, spanning 2,529 sq. ft., features expansive living areas and private outdoor plunge pools, distinguishing it as one of the few hotel suites in Business Bay to offer such amenities.

The hotel’s culinary offerings include signature venues such as ZIYA and Mood Bar, alongside acclaimed restaurants that aim to position the hotel as a vibrant dining hub for both residents and international visitors. The integrated dining ecosystem reflects a broader vision of lifestyle engagement in Dubai.

Furthermore, the hotel is fully equipped to host a variety of events, from intimate meetings to large conferences, featuring nine bespoke event spaces and the luxurious Mirage Ballroom.
