World Vegan Day: ALT Co. Makes the Case for Small Plant-Based Swaps
/World Vegan Day falls on 1 November, and plant-based food and beverage brand ALT Co. is using the occasion to make the case for small, everyday swaps rather than wholesale dietary overhauls: a different milk in the morning coffee, a plant protein drink after the gym, or a bar of dairy-free chocolate.
Beyond milk alternatives
The brand's portfolio stretches further than the usual dairy-free milk shelf. Alongside oat, almond and soy milk, ALT Co. produces plant protein powders, ready-to-drink protein beverages and dark chocolate, positioning the range across breakfast, on-the-go snacking and post-workout occasions.
What is in the range
ALT Co.'s oat milk is made without added sugar or preservatives and provides calcium along with vitamins B1, B2, B12 and D. Its chocolate plant-protein drinks offer up to 16 g of plant protein in select variants, together with BCAAs, omega-3 and essential vitamins and minerals.
The protein powders come in Madagascar chocolate, creamy vanilla and berry blast flavours, as well as an unflavoured option. On the indulgent end sits a 70% dark chocolate with sea salt.
Accessibility as the focus
The brand says its wider aim is to make plant-based alternatives accessible and affordable while keeping taste, quality and sustainability in view, leaving consumers to explore at their own pace, whether they are making a full dietary shift or simply adding variety.
More on the range is available on the ALT Co. website and on Instagram.
