From throwback favourites to international hits, Supa San invites guests to take the mic for a music-filled evening that goes beyond the usual night out

Supa San Bandra West, the modern Japanese izakaya by Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality (ABNAH), is giving Thursday evenings a musical twist with its open, community-led karaoke experience. Located on the 14th floor of Mansionz One on Linking Road, Bandra West, the restaurant invites guests to put in their song requests, grab a drink and take their turn behind the microphone for an evening of music, good food and shared moments.

Designed for music lovers who enjoy being part of the action, Thursday Karaoke brings together an eclectic mix of tracks spanning genres, eras and international music influences. From familiar favourites to songs guests have always wanted to sing out loud, the experience encourages everyone to join in, whether they are taking centre stage or cheering on the next person at the mic.

At Supa San, karaoke is less about hitting every note perfectly and more about the energy that builds when a room comes together over music. Guests can put forward their requests, wait for their turn and enjoy an evening that unfolds through spontaneous performances, unexpected song choices and plenty of audience participation. The format is designed to be relaxed and inclusive, making it as much about the people in the room as the music itself.

The experience takes place in Supa San’s Private karaoke room, which transforms every Thursday into an open singing space. The room is also available for private reservations.

While karaoke adds a participative dimension to the experience, it remains part of Supa San Bandra’s broader music-first identity. Guided by its “Masters of One” philosophy, the Bandra outpost explores music as a cultural expression through curated playlists, DJ sets, musical artefacts, collectibles and programming. Guests can complement the experience with Supa San’s Japanese-inspired culinary programme and NOW PLAYING cocktail menu. Conceived like a curated record collection, the cocktail menu is divided into five sections—Low Volume, The Hits, Covers, Deep Cuts and Full Volume—offering everything from lighter, easy-drinking serves to bolder, spirit-forward cocktails.
