ZeeLink Wants Sold-Out Hosts to Refer Guests to Peers, Not OTAs
/When a property is sold out, the enquiry usually dies, and the guest drifts back to an OTA where the host earns nothing. Zeevou, the London-based platform for serviced apartment operators, wants to turn that dead end into income. It has launched ZeeLink, a host-to-host network that lets hotel, aparthotel and serviced apartment operators refer overflow guests to one another for a commission.
How it works
Members can display listings from other trusted network members on their own websites. When a host cannot take a booking because of availability or location, they refer the guest to a peer and earn a commission on a successful referral. By listing their own properties, operators also gain distribution across partner sites at what Zeevou says is a lower commission than traditional intermediaries, whose fees it puts at 15–20%.
Joining is free, with no upfront or monthly fees. Zeevou charges a network fee only when the platform generates revenue for the host.
“Instead of paying billions in fees to extractive multinationals, we are empowering hosts to support one another, share demand, and keep more money in the pockets of independent operators.”
