Hyatt Relaunches Leverage to Win Small and Midsize Business Travel
/Hyatt is courting the smaller corporate account. The group has relaunched Hyatt Leverage, its online business travel platform for eligible small and midsize businesses, with redesigned booking and administration tools that let companies manage travel in one place, and preferred rates at more than 1,300 Hyatt hotels.
What clients get
Travel managers can book, view and manage reservations, travel spend and payments from a single dashboard. Rates cover Hyatt's five brand portfolios, from Classics names such as Hyatt Regency to Essentials brands such as Hyatt Studios for extended stays. Both administrators and travellers earn World of Hyatt points on eligible travel.
The platform is now powered by Spotnana, a Travel-as-a-Service platform, for an integrated booking experience. Select existing clients have already been migrated.
“Small-and-midsize businesses have long represented a critical segment for Hyatt hotels and the broader global business travel market. Today’s travelers want greater personalization, collaboration and a seamless experience, and Hyatt Leverage makes booking and managing travel even easier through these new enhancements.”
— Alice Harrington-Caravello, Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Americas Commercial Services, Hyatt
Clients quoted in the release include Brixmor Property Group, whose EVP Stacy Slater cited “a compelling combination of discounted rates, global reach, and flexibility”, and Quantbot Technologies.
Who qualifies
Businesses must be legally organised in their country of origin, qualify as small or midsize and achieve at least 50 actualised room nights a year. Leverage rates are not available through travel agencies, consortia or other online booking tools. Details are at hyatt.com/leverage.
