JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar Appoints Rahul Shirish Karve as Executive Sous Chef

Mumbai, March 2026: JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar has announced the appointment of Rahul Shirish Karve as Executive Sous Chef, reinforcing its commitment to culinary innovation and luxury dining excellence.

With over a decade of experience in leading hospitality brands, Karve has worked with Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, Hyatt Pune, and Sahara Star Hotel. His expertise spans global cuisines, menu innovation, and large-scale banquet execution, including events serving more than 25,000 guests.

In his new role, Karve will oversee kitchen operations, menu development, and banquet execution, while driving creativity across Japanese, Oriental, Western, and Awadhi cuisines. He views the kitchen as both a creative studio and a performance space, aiming to craft dining experiences that resonate beyond the plate.
