Lucknow, July 2026: Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar has announced the appointment of Ajay Subhash Sharma as Housekeeping Manager, effective 1st July 2026. With over 14 years of experience in hotel operations and housekeeping, Ajay brings extensive expertise in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, guest comfort, and operational efficiency.

In his new role, Ajay will be responsible for overseeing the hotel's housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, linen and laundry operations, inventory management, team supervision, and quality control. He will focus on ensuring consistent cleanliness and presentation standards while supporting the hotel's commitment to delivering a comfortable and seamless guest experience.

Prior to joining Mercure Lucknow Gomti Nagar, he served as Housekeeping Manager at Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel, where he managed a team of 33 associates and oversaw daily operations, quality control, manpower planning, guest satisfaction, inventory management, budgeting, cost control, and departmental financial performance. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading hotel brands like Ibis Chennai City Centre, Novotel & ibis Bengaluru, Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar, and Hyatt Regency Lucknow.

Recognised as the Learning & Development Person of the Year at the Accor South Asia Hotel Awards 2024 and Unsung Hero of the Year at the Hotelier India Awards 2024, Neha has consistently demonstrated her ability to build learning cultures that empower employees and strengthen organisational performance.
