Dipak has enjoyed a long association of over 15 years with renowned brands holding varied positions and has ably led teams. He will now oversee the overall operations and management of all the 3 properties with a cumulative inventory of 70 room’s in the capital city of Sikkim set amidst pristine hills.

Subhro Mukhopadhyay takes over as General Manager of The Fern Residency, Turbhe.  Mr. Mukhopadhyay's illustrious career in the hospitality sector spans over 21 years, during which he has amassed a wealth of experience and expertise. Notably, he played a crucial role as part of the pre-opening teams for The Fern Residency in Calangute (Goa) and The Fern Residency Subhash Bridge in Ahmedabad. 

Now, in his new role, his primary focus will revolve around achieving operational excellence, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, and fostering robust stakeholder relationships to boost profitability.

Before joining Concept Hospitality, Subhro held significant leadership positions with esteemed organizations such as Hyatt, Qatar Airways, Lufthansa Airlines, The Zuri Hotels, IHG, and Royal Orchid Hotels. Through his extensive background in the hospitality industry, he has refined his abilities in creating cohesive and high-performing teams, while also promoting cross-departmental collaboration.

Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach welcomes Vishal Gupta as the new General Manager

Vishal has 24 years of international hospitality experience in four countries. He started his career as a Management Trainee with Marriott International and transitioned from Operations to Sales and from 2005-2012 in Maryland and Washington DC area with Marriott.

He was transferred to India in 2012, where he up the leisure division for Marriott’s National Sales Organization.

Vishal joined Hilton Worldwide as a General Manager in 2015 and worked at the Hilton Garden Inn Trivandrum and Hilton Jaipur until 2022. An entrepreneur at heart, Vishal took all his business and financial acumen, co-founded an Ed Tech platform in 2022, and ran it for 18 months.

Vishal believes in having a growth mind-set and is a constant learner. He completed a one year Advance General Management Program in 2020-21from IIM – Ahmedabad as well as he is a certified Executive Leadership coach from George Mason University, Virginia. He did his Bachelors of Business in Hotel Administration from the Hotel School, Southern Cross University, Australia and passed out from IHM Chandigarh in 1999.

On the personal front, Vishal, an Edwardian and a Shimlite, he likes to read, travel and play golf.

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts one of Marriott Bonvoy's 31 exceptional brands with its debut in Amritsar, announces K P Singh as the General Manager. K P Singh, who has over two decades of expertise in the premium and luxury hotel businesses and will oversee the senior management and operations teams strategically to strengthen the hotel's revenue pillars.

K P Singh held multiple leading positions at premium five-star hotels in provinces like Bali, Sanya, Beijing, Shanghai in Asia, Dubai & Riyadh in the Middle East, and northern Virginia in the USA before moving to Amritsar. He has handled both operational and strategic responsibilities during the span of his career. He also has an extensive experience in food and beverage operations, hotel openings both nationally and internationally.

He has a dual diploma from the Hotel Institute Montreux, Switzerland, and an MBA degree from British Open University.

In his current role, he will be entrusted with an expanded spectrum of responsibilities, such as creating strategic plans, putting new ideas into practice in accordance with Marriott standards, enhancing operational and financial performance, and looking into opportunities for growth in the dynamic industry.

JW Marriott Goa appoints  Neha Chhabra as General Manager

JW Marriott Goa is delighted to announce the appointment of Neha Chhabra to lead the team as General Manager.  With over two decades of luxury hospitality experience behind her, Neha embodies the ‘Power of Women Leaders’.  She commenced her career with The Oberoi Group of Hotels and was soon a part of Marriott International’s leadership team.

Her phenomenal creativity and unwavering passion have been driving forces behind her remarkable achievements in effectively implementing strategic initiatives and attaining financial success.  Hailing from Kolkata, Neha comes from a self-made business family.  Neha spent her early years enjoying the eclectic culture of the city. Extremely academic and intellectual, Neha was all set to start her education in Economics.  She stumbled into the hospitality profession by pure chance.  Having been accepted for specialization in Economics, Neha joined the hotel management institute for a short stint.  She enjoyed her time so much that she chose this over a career as an economist, never to look back. 

This will be her third leadership role, having joined as Director of Operations at JW Marriott Sahar and moving on to her first assignment as General Manager with Courtyard Hebbel in Bangalore.  Neha essayed this role for two years, before moving back into the luxury hotel league with JW Marriott Goa.

Armed with a degree from the reputed Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Kolkata, and a post-graduation in Guest Service Management from the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development, Neha’s career started with Food & Beverage with a pre-opening project at The Oberoi New Delhi. Over the next years, she honed her skills, which laid the foundation for her growth as a luxury hotelier.  With this background, her keen business acumen, and an overview of operations, she rose to become Executive Assistant Manager and moved further upwards to her current position.  

Neha truly embodies the core values of Marriott and has led her last hotel to be recognized at the 2022 GM APEC Summit for the Highest Internal/Alumni Hiring Award 2021 and Spirit to Serve our Communities Award 2021.  Most recently, she won the Diamond General Manager of the Year, Global 2022, for her hotel. She is a co-chair of the Marriott India Business Council and works cohesively with all stakeholders to get SERVE 360 in life and spirit at the properties.  Among her accolades, is a Gold Medal (Apeejay Surendra Paul) in college in 2002. 

At JW Marriott Goa Neha, will lead the dynamic leadership team to position the hotel in India’s most favored holiday destination.  She will focus on increasing employee engagement, driving guest voice scores and building relationships with key stakeholders while driving revenue and growing market share. 

A keen traveler and swimmer, Neha ensures both are penciled into her calendar. She loves her moments off with her family and enjoys this time with her little son, Veer, and hotelier husband, Manas.
