LXR Hotels & Resorts Arrives in India with The Den Bengaluru
/Hilton's LXR Hotels & Resorts has made its India debut. The Den Bengaluru in Whitefield, announced on 13 October 2026, now operates as an LXR property, owned by Dan Hospitality India Pvt. Ltd. and managed by Hilton. It joins the brand's collection of independent luxury hotels around the world.
The 226-room hotel launches with two signature programmes. The Pause Program turns the hotel's Pause in the Pulse philosophy into rituals throughout the stay, from a calming arrival to in-room amenities including a sleep well kit and pillow menu. Whitefield Unscripted takes guests out into the neighbourhood, with the Whitefield Verandah Trail through heritage bungalows and long-standing local institutions, and Whitefield's Farm Story, where guests harvest produce at a local farm before a personalised meal from the hotel's culinary team.
"India is one of Hilton's most important growth markets, and the emerging expectations of the country's luxury traveller are creating significant opportunity for brands that offer individual and experience-led stays," said Zubin Saxena, senior vice president and regional head, South Asia, Hilton.
Inside the hotel
Guestrooms, studios and suites are designed for business, leisure and extended stays. Dining spans Layla, a rooftop restaurant with Indian and Mediterranean influences; The Creek, the all-day multi-cuisine restaurant; The Deli for specialty coffee and pastries; and The Cold Press, a wellness counter serving cold-pressed juices and smoothies.
The Sanctuary spa draws on contemporary wellness and traditional healing practices, alongside The Studio fitness centre and an outdoor pool. The Playhouse offers digital tabletop games and a pool table, while The Cave is a screening room. More than 21,000 square feet of event space is spread across seven venues, from a ballroom and auditorium to meeting rooms and an open-air amphitheatre.
"The Den Bengaluru marks an important new chapter for LXR, bringing that global perspective to India while giving the collection a compelling new expression of Bengaluru and Whitefield," said Candice D'Cruz, vice president, Hilton Luxury Brands, Asia Pacific.
General manager Vinesh Gupta said joining LXR lets the hotel build on its close connection with Whitefield "through distinctive experiences and highly personalised service, complemented by the strength and reliability of Hilton Honors." The hotel is part of Hilton Honors, the loyalty programme covering Hilton's 28 brands.
