Meliá Chiang Mai Launches a Wellness Spa Buffet at YHI Spa

Meliá Chiang Mai has applied the buffet format to the spa. Its new Wellness Spa Buffet at YHI Spa lets guests mix and match treatments from a menu of seven therapies to build their own 120-minute session, priced at THB 2,600 net per person. It is available daily from 10am to 10pm until 31 December 2026.

The menu covers Traditional Thai, Aromatic and Deep tissue massages, each in 60 or 90 minutes, plus foot massages of 30 or 60 minutes. A 30-minute body scrub, herbal compress or aloe vera body wrap can round out the two hours.

The Thai massage uses stretching and pressure points to ease muscle tension; the Aromatic massage combines palm pressure with a choice of aromatherapy oils; and the Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm strokes to target deeper muscle layers. The foot massage works pressure points in the feet and lower legs to improve circulation.

Beyond the buffet

YHI Spa's full menu includes a signature treatment combining Northern Thai Tok Sen with Spanish massage, and a 360 Spa Signature Treatment with yoga, meditation, herbal steam, Aromatic massage and healthy cuisine. There is a milk bath and massage for couples, a Deep tissue massage and facial package for men, and a therapy for children aged six to 12 using playful yoga stretches and coconut oil.

The spa sits on the hotel's first floor, with seven underwater-themed private treatment rooms, a Thai herbal steam and a sauna. Treatments use products from organic Thai wellness brand HARNN.

The price includes a 10% service charge and 7% government tax. Bookings must be made at least a day ahead and cannot be combined with other offers. Reservations: +66 (0) 52 090 699 (ext. 3) or YHIspa@meliachiangmai.com.
