Fusion Opens LÈGACY Hanoi, a 218-Room Wellness Hotel by West Lake

Fusion Hotel Group has opened LÈGACY Hanoi - A Fusion Original, a 218-room hotel and wellness retreat in the capital's historic Ngoc Ha ward, with views across the city and West Lake. The grand opening ceremony took place on 16 September.

The design draws on Hanoi's heritage, referencing the O Quan Chuong Gate, the Red River and the five-petal peach blossom. A large interpretation of the chim hac (crane) hangs above reception, and a complimentary lobby refreshment service, Sparkling Moments, is meant to get guests talking.

"Our ambition with LÈGACY was to create a destination that feels truly connected to Hanoi, one that respects the character and heritage of the city while offering a fresh and contemporary hospitality experience," said Christopher Hur, CEO of Fusion Hotel Group.

Rooms and apartments

The building holds 133 serviced apartments on floors 9-13 and 19-21, and 85 hotel rooms on floors 14-18, across eight room types from studios to two-bedroom units of 37 to 105 sqm. The hotel stock comprises 20 Original Rooms, 45 Deluxe Suites, 5 Premium Deluxe Suites and 15 Executive Suites, each with a private balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows and a vintage record player with vinyl. The apartments use warm wood with indigo and terracotta accents.

Spa and dining

YÊN Spa, named after the Vietnamese word for peace, offers Vietnamese-based therapies, massage and beauty treatments, plus an onsen with hot and cold pools, sauna, steam room and relaxation lounge. On the 24th floor, all-day restaurant MỘC LOFT reinterprets Northern Vietnamese cooking, while 24 Social and Terrace is the open-air rooftop bar.

"Creativity doesn't erase tradition. It breathes new life into it, making heritage resonate with today," said newly appointed general manager Ngo Anh Doan.

Rooms start from US$210. An opening offer gives 30% off, with room upgrades, flexible check-in or check-out, and 20% off at YÊN Spa and MỘC LOFT, for stays until 31 December 2026. Details at fusionoriginals.com/hanoi.
