Sahil brings over 16 years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry, having commenced his journey with Marriott in 2009 as a Voyager Management Trainee in Revenue Management. Most recently, he served as Area Director of Revenue Management at Park Hyatt Hyderabad, where he successfully led revenue strategies for 14 hotels across Southern India, demonstrating a results-driven approach coupled with a passion for precision and creativity.

With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, Mr. Kumar brings a wealth of expertise in operations, culinary innovation, and sustainable hospitality practices.

Mr. Vijaya Kumar’s elevation to this role marks a significant internal promotion within GRT Hotels & Resorts. He previously served as the Cluster Director of Food & Beverage and successfully led F&B operations across Radisson franchise GRT hotels. He brings 17 years of experience with GRT Hotels and Resorts, having served in various capacities across multiple properties. Over the years, he has worked with leading brands including Taj, ITC, and SRM Hotels.

Recognised for his contributions to the industry, Mr. Kumar has received multiple accolades, including the IFCA Smart Chef Award (2017), Green Hotelier of the Year, and medals at SICA Culinary Competitions. He is also a certified judge for national and international culinary contests, further cementing his reputation as a leader in hospitality. 

Passionate about giving back to the community, Mr. Kumar has driven several impactful initiatives including Chef Amudhupadai (a program to feed underprivileged children), collaborations with local farmers for organic produce, and the introduction of Braille menus and allergen-friendly dining experiences. He has also been instrumental in training and empowering differently-abled individuals in the bakery and hospitality sector.

The Clarks Group of Hotels has announced the appointment of seasoned hospitality professionals to lead two of its key properties — The Clarks Safari, Haridwar and The Clarks Collection, Vadodara.

Mr. Krishan K has been named General Manager at The Clarks Safari, Haridwar. With over 20 years of experience in the hospitality sector, Krishan has held leadership positions with renowned brands including Lords Hotels and The Clarks Hotels. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Unique Resort & Lifestyle in Valsad, Gujarat. His expertise spans across marketing, human resources, policy design, property signings, and strategic execution. He holds a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management.

At The Clarks Collection, Vadodara, Mr. Hiren Sonavane has been appointed as General Manager. Hiren brings 12 years of operational and managerial experience, having most recently served as Operations Manager at Sunday Hotels, Vadodara. Known for his ability to lead large teams and drive successful operational strategies, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Catering and Hotel Management from the Asia Pacific Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

He was initially managing the Sunday Hotel in Vadodara, and later he managed the opening and management of DanCenter Company's luxury villas, apartments, and the Sunday Hotel in Goa.
