Secrets Resorts & Spas and The Skin Deep Launch First-of-Its-Kind Collaboration Focused on Meaningful Connection

New collaboration introduces “AWAY, TOGETHER,” an immersive guest experience designed to foster deeper connection through innovative programming across participating Secrets Resorts & Spas

CHICAGO (June , 2026) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and The Skin Deep, the Emmy Award-winning experience design  studio and relationship platform known for its emotional storytelling and card-based conversation games, today announced a first-of-its-kind collaboration between The Skin Deep and Secrets Resorts & Spas, part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection.

Expected to launch starting in June 2026, the collaboration is designed to elevate the all-inclusive guest journey through thoughtfully integrated digital and physical touchpoints that encourage Secrets guests to slow down, reconnect and create memorable shared experiences while on vacation.

As part of this exclusive experience, guests at participating Secrets Resorts & Spas can enjoy the limited-edition {THE AND} Away, Together Conversation Card Game, created with The Skin Deep, alongside curated digital prompts available through QR codes and the Hyatt Inclusive Collection app.

Designed to unfold naturally throughout the resort journey—from quiet in-suite moments and romantic dinners to cafés, poolside lounges and beachfront settings—the experience encourages couples to slow down, be fully present and engage in deeper, more meaningful conversation. QR codes are thoughtfully placed throughout the resort in natural gathering spaces, allowing guests to seamlessly access digital versions of the card deck in both English and Spanish directly from their phones.

Inspired by The Skin Deep’s Emmy Award-winning project {THE AND}, exploring of human relationships, {THE AND} Away, Together transforms everyday vacation moments into intentional opportunities for reflection, curiosity and emotional closeness. Whether sharing a sunrise breakfast, walking along the beach or unwinding together at the end of the day, guests are invited to reconnect in ways that feel authentic, memorable and lasting.

“At Inclusive Collection resorts, we know travelers are increasingly seeking experiences that help them reconnect in more meaningful ways,” said Ana Tomicevic, Vice President, Global Brand, Hyatt Inclusive Collection. “Our recent Time Rich survey, completed by Wakefield research found that 31% of couples say they don’t spend enough quality time together, while 84% believe time away strengthens their relationship long after returning home. Through our collaboration with The Skin Deep, we’re creating intentional experiences that help guests slow down, engage more deeply and make their time together feel even more valuable.”

The Skin Deep’s first-ever hospitality collaboration will be exclusive to Secrets Resorts & Spas and reflects the growing demand for travel experiences rooted in emotional wellness, intimacy and authentic connection. The collaboration reinforces Secrets Resorts & Spas’ commitment to creating elevated and immersive guest experiences that make time together feel more intentional, memorable and valuable.

“Deeper Connection doesn’t happen automatically—it happens when people intentionally enter a space of vulnerability, curiosity and presence,” said Topaz Adizes, Founder and Executive Director of The Skin Deep. “This collaboration with Secrets Resorts & Spas felt like a natural fit because travel has the unique ability to remove people from the distractions of everyday life and create opportunities for deeper conversation. Together, we designed an experience that encourages couples to move beyond surface-level interaction and reconnect in meaningful ways throughout their stay.”

The “{THE AND} AWAY, TOGETHER” experience will feature:

  • Custom Connection Card Experiences – Co-branded physical and digital card decks designed exclusively for Secrets Resorts & Spas guests, available through QR-enabled activations and in key resort spaces.

  • Embedded Resort Touchpoints – Interactive prompts integrated across the guest journey, including in-room experiences, cafés, elevators, VIP Bali beds, bars and dining venues.

  • Signature Romantic Programming – Enhanced romantic dining experiences and curated “Last Bite” dessert moments designed to encourage conversation and connection.

  • Digital-First Guest Engagement – Guests will be able to access conversation prompts through mobile-enabled QR codes and digital experiences in both English and Spanish.

The initial pilot phase of the collaboration will launch across select Secrets Resorts & Spas beginning in June 2026, including Secrets Moxché Playa del Carmen and Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya, with additional properties to follow.

The collaboration will also feature recognizable couples intentionally selected for their authentic representation of modern relationship dynamics and emotional storytelling. Featured couples span a range of life stages and experiences—from married couples navigating parenthood and demanding careers to newly engaged partners and LGBTQIA+ voices sharing their unique perspectives on connection, intimacy and partnership.

Featured participants include Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson East and former NFL athlete Andrew East, DJ Dante Moreno and beauty personality Taty Cokley, LGBTQIA+ voices Amir Dean and Aamir Hassan, and NFL Super Bowl Champion JuJu Smith-Schuster alongside fitness personality Laura Kruk.

Together, the collaboration aims to create an always-on platform that extends beyond the stay through social storytelling, creator-led content, hosted media experiences and culturally relevant campaigns focused on relationships, intimacy and connection.

In a world that often moves too fast, Secrets Resorts & Spas and The Skin Deep invite guests to rediscover the idea that the most meaningful part of any getaway is not simply where you go, but how you connect while you are there. Through meaningful questions, shared moments and intentional experiences, “{THE AND} Away, Together” encourages couples to turn time away into something lasting — because real connection starts here.

As part of Hyatt’s Inclusive Collection—a leader in the all-inclusive segment with more than 150 resorts and over 55,000 rooms across Latin America, the Caribbean, and Europe—Secrets Resorts & Spas continue to set the standard for adults-only luxury travel. Hyatt Reaches Global RiseHY Goal, Surpassing 10,000 Hires and Progressing Toward 15,000 Hires by the End of 2028

Milestone reinforces Hyatt’s continued commitment to connecting untapped talent to careers in hospitality

CHICAGO (June, 2026) – Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) announced today that Hyatt and Hyatt hotels have hired more than 12,000 Opportunity Youth worldwide between 2018 and 2025, exceeding Hyatt’s goal of hiring 10,000 individuals by the end of 2025. The milestone reflects Hyatt’s longstanding commitment to opening doors for untapped talent and creating pathways to long-term careers in hospitality through World of Care, Hyatt's global expression of what it means to advance care – for people, the planet and responsible business.

Introduced in 2018, RiseHY is Hyatt’s program designed to connect untapped talent to career opportunities in hospitality, including Opportunity Youth: individuals from under-resourced communities who are not currently working, in training or attending school. Through engagement with community-based organizations and public-private counterparts, RiseHY supports access to training, skills development and employment opportunities across Hyatt’s global portfolio.

“Hiring more than 12,000 Opportunity Youth at Hyatt hotels shows what is possible when opportunity meets potential,” said Mark Hoplamazian, Chairman, President and CEO, Hyatt. “We understand the challenges that individuals disconnected from the economy face and believe Hyatt hotels are uniquely positioned to provide a pathway to a career. Reaching our hiring goal ahead of schedule reinforces our belief in the power of hospitality to create lasting impact by opening doors to meaningful employment and long-term careers.”

In June 2025, Hyatt announced a renewed RiseHY commitment for Hyatt and Hyatt hotels to hire an additional 5,000 individuals from untapped talent pools, including Opportunity Youth, by the end of 2028, with an increased emphasis on retention, progressive skills training and long-term career mobility. This continued focus reflects Hyatt’s efforts to support sustainable pathways to long-term careers in hospitality.

RiseHY is embedded in Hyatt’s broader World of Care priorities, which includes its Community Grant Program supporting community-based organizations around the world alongside the Hyatt Hotels Foundation. Since 2008, Hyatt, Hyatt hotels and Hyatt Hotels Foundation have helped direct more than $7 million to over 300 nonprofits in 54 countries, equipping individuals with skills, confidence and pathways to meaningful employment. In 2025, community grants were prioritized across 10 strategic regions to deepen local impact where Hyatt hotels operate.

This week, Hyatt is also proud to take part in the closing ceremony of the “Compétences Plus” training program organized by Les Déterminés, a French nonprofit organization created to impact local economic development in underserved and remote communities through entrepreneurship and workforce readiness programs. The occasion marks an important milestone and reflects the enduring value of nonprofit alliances that advance RiseHY around the world. The celebration also highlights the longstanding relationship between Hyatt hotels in France and Les Déterminés, which has received annual Hyatt Community Grants since 2019. Through this collaboration, more than 300 young people have developed new skills, built confidence, and gained access to meaningful career opportunities.

Global Hyatt Hotels Connecting Opportunity Youth with Careers in Hospitality

Hotels across Hyatt's global portfolio are continuing to connect Opportunity Youth with careers in hospitality, including leading RiseHY hiring hotels like Grand Hyatt Baha Mar in the Bahamas, Grand Hyatt Mumbai in India, Hyatt Regency Chesapeake in the U.S., and Dreams Natura Resort & Spa in Mexico.

At Park Hyatt Marrakech in Morocco, RiseHY has become a core part of the hotel’s talent strategy. In 2025, approximately 10 percent of the hotel’s team was made up of RiseHY hires. With support from the Hyatt Community Grant Program, the hotel works alongside a local nonprofit to deliver structured training and government-recognized certification programs that prepare participants for long-term careers in hospitality.

“RiseHY continues to be a unique opportunity for Park Hyatt Marrakech to change lives while also building a strong and motivated talent pipeline,” said Franck Sibille, Area Vice President, Spain, Portugal and North Africa, Hyatt. “These new colleagues bring energy, commitment and new perspectives to our teams. The program has been a game changer as we continue to learn, adapt and grow alongside the next generation of hospitality professionals.”

At Grand Hyatt Amman, Doa'a Awwad progressed through RiseHY training, was hired into the hotel’s kitchen team as a commis and has since been promoted in her role. At Grand Hyatt Bali, Maria Dangu began her RiseHY journey as an intern, grew as a full-time colleague, and later joined Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi in a leadership role as Team Leader, demonstrating how RiseHY supports career growth, mobility, and retention across roles, hotels, and regions.

As the hospitality industry continues to evolve, Hyatt is encouraging industry peers to pursue similar pathways to talent development and career access. Hyatt’s RiseHY resources, collaborative relationships and learnings are available to help advance collective action across the industry. How Park Hyatt is helping preserve one of the world’s most renowned heritage sites

The collaboration with World Monuments Fund will support conservation training and heritage awareness initiatives at Angkor Archaeological Park.

Park Hyatt Siem Reap announced a collaboration with World Monuments Fund (WMF) designed to support long-term conservation training at Angkor Archaeological Park and deepen responsible guest engagement with one of the world’s most important cultural landscapes.

The Collaboration

The collaboration has two core elements:

  • Funding the Heritage Foreman-Training initiative through the Suzanne Deal Booth Institute for Heritage Preservation. This six-month program will equip 25 local foremen with the technical skills needed to care for Angkor’s historic temple complexes. Drawn from local communities in and around Siem Reap, the participants will be trained to serve as the custodians of Angkor, ensuring the highly specialized knowledge required for long-term conservation remains in Siem Reap and that the conservation of Angkor remains locally led in perpetuity.

  • Broadening awareness of the WMF’s heritage training initiatives by offering Park Hyatt Siem Reap guests exclusive, intimate-scale educational experiences in Angkor Archaeological Park. Led by WMF and their team of specialists, visits to active conservation sites at the 9th-century hilltop temple Phnom Bakheng will offer guests rare behind-the-scenes insight into the traditional craftsmanship, preservation techniques and complexities behind one of the world’s most-visited cultural heritage sites.

Leadership Comment

“Siem Reap is home to one of the world’s most extraordinary cultural treasures, and we are honored to support the important work World Monuments Fund has carried out at Angkor for decades,” said Himanshu Kapoor, General Manager of Park Hyatt Siem Reap. “We are excited to offer guests a unique opportunity to connect more deeply to Cambodia’s rich heritage through experiences that are both meaningful and memorable, while contributing to the preservation of Angkor for future generations.”

40 Years Of Locally Led Heritage Preservation

World Monuments Fund (WMF) has invested approximately $19.5 million in conservation projects across Cambodia. Much of this work has been carried out by Cambodian professionals who have received training through WMF-supported programmes.

Since the 1990s, the organisation’s training initiatives have supported more than 100 Cambodian conservation technicians annually. WMF has undertaken conservation work at sites including Phnom Bakheng, Angkor Wat, Preah Khan and Ta Som as part of its long-term involvement in heritage preservation at Angkor.

WMF Perspective

“For nearly four decades, WMF has worked alongside our Cambodian partners at Angkor to safeguard one of the world’s most important cultural landscapes while rebuilding the technical knowledge needed to sustain it,” said Bénédicte de Montlaur, President and CEO of World Monuments Fund. “At the heart of this effort is our long-standing training program, which equips Cambodian conservators with the skills to care for these monuments over the long term, ensuring that preservation is locally led and enduring. Support from Park Hyatt Siem Reap strengthens this work by connecting responsible tourism with hands-on conservation and expanding opportunities to train the next generation. This collaboration demonstrates how the private sector can play a vital role in protecting heritage across the region, ensuring that Angkor remains resilient and accessible for generations to come.

Michel Morauw, the newly appointed Managing Director North, EAME, Hyatt said: “The pipeline in these markets is a core component of Hyatt’s growth ambitions in EAME. The expansion in this region with five Hyatt Regency properties in the next few years is indicative of our ambitious approach. The use of natural materials and colorful wooden sculptures by local artist, Patricio Correa, celebrates the region’s culture and joy. While the guestrooms feature custom ceramic pieces inspired by Pimentel and Antillean culture, common areas showcase artwork that highlights the energy and spirit of Santo Domingo, including sculptures depicting fish, figurative bust figures, and carnival masks. Each guestroom offers a sophisticated, modern design with multifunctional amenities, including 55” flat-screen HDTVs, complimentary Wi-Fi and more.

Hyatt Centric Santo Domingo puts guests at the center of Santo Domingo's tantalizing culinary landscape, home to four dining venues including Aon Food & Mood located on the lobby level, remixing island and international flavors with locally sourced ingredients to provide an elevated buffet experience. The Lobby Bar is an ideal space to connect with others for a glass of wine or afternoon tea, with live music acts every evening. Those seeking a rooftop experience with a resident DJ and pool can look no further than Burble Rooftop Bar, with snacks and smoothies to enjoy poolside by day, and cocktails, lite bites, and panoramic city views by night.
