Chef Stephane’s career has spanned all corners of the globe, from Europe to North America and from Africa to the Middle East and Asia, where his unique creations have drawn wide acclaim in Michelin-starred restaurants at 5-star hotels, as well as in resorts, palaces and luxury pastry shops. Ramandeep Singh Kapur is a seasoned professional with a distinguished career that includes pivotal roles at prestigious establishments such as Hyatt Hotels, Marriott International, DLF Super Luxury real estate developer, and the Oberoi Group. His extensive expertise spans leading teams in world-class business hotels, luxury real estate, and resort properties.

His most recent success was as the Operations Manager at Plaza Premium Lounge, Heathrow Airport, London, since January 2023. In this capacity, he demonstrated his ability to oversee operations in a high-paced international airport environment, ensuring top-tier services. Before that, Ramandeep served as the Director of Operations at Hyatt, Andaz, Delhi, from January 2022 to November 2022, where he played a pivotal role in shaping business strategies, driving revenue, and managing various phases of hotel operations in a competitive market.

Dipankar Biswas has been appointed as the General Manager of U Rivergate Karjat

Mr Dipankar Biswas is a seasoned hotelier with an experience of 2 decades.

He did his hotel management at IHM Kolkata. He has extensive knowledge of managing luxury hotels.

He joined U Rivergate on 8th January 2024.

His career in the hospitality industry started with Park Hotel Kolkata from there he moved to Intercontinental Marine Drive. Mr. Biswas also has experience working with hotels abroad, Marriott Group, and many other premium and luxury hotels and resorts, both domestic and international.

Mr. Biswas is a visionary and a team player and looks forward to enhancing the hospitality experience at one of his favorite getaways u Rivergate karjat.

Alma Resort Appoints Executive Sous Chef

CAM RANH, Vietnam 2024: A seasoned chef with more than two decades of hospitality experience in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia has been named beachfront family resort Alma’s executive sous chef.

Swiss-born Tiziano Botta has joined 30-hectare Alma on Vietnam’s Cam Ranh peninsula to help oversee its rich culinary landscape comprising 14 dining venues. Beachfront restaurant Atlantis, which specializes in fresh, locally sourced seafood, Italian trattoria La Casa, and Alma Food Court with its array of local and international cuisine, are among the venues under Botta’s stewardship.

Before joining, he was the executive sous chef during the pre-opening of The Heart of Europe in Dubai, overseeing all of the major development’s food outlets.

Previously Botta was executive sous chef at Kuwait’s Waldorf Astoria during its pre-opening. He has also worked as executive chef at the Royal Sands Koh Rong in Cambodia, and executive sous chef at London’s 45 Park Lane, Dorchester Collection, and Suvretta House in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

After studying an apprenticeship at Hotel des Balance in Luzern, Switzerland, he began his hospitality career as a commis chef at Le Grand Bellevue Gstaad. He steadily climbed the career ladder, working as chef de partie at two Michelin-starred restaurants Gaggan in Thailand, with the Caminada restaurant brand in Switzerland, and at renowned chef Peter Gilmore’s Quay Restaurant in Sydney.

He holds two postgraduate degrees in culinary arts and hotel management, has traveled to more than 90 countries, and speaks five languages.

Alma’s executive assistant manager Ingo Stöneberg said Botta was “a highly organized professional” with an excellent track record, who would “maintain high quality, consistency of food and train staff to reach their potential”

Turkka Kuusisto appointed CEO of Finnair

New Delhi | January 2024: Finnair has appointed Turkka Kuusisto (44, MSc. Tech) as CEO of Finnair and he will start in this role on 11 July 2024 at the latest. Kuusisto joins Finnair from Posti Group Corporation, where he has served as the CEO since 2020. Prior to his role as the CEO at Posti Group Corporation, Kuusisto served in senior leadership positions at Posti Group Corporation and in Lindorff Group.
