Foo introduces its ‘Take the Reins’ Menu in celebration of the Year of the Horse
To welcome Chinese New Year 2026, Foo, India’s most popular Pan-Asian Tapas restaurant, introduces a limited-edition festive menu inspired by its campaign theme, “Take the Reins.” Aligned with the symbolism of the Year of the Horse, the menu reflects energy, movement, balance, and forward momentum through a thoughtfully curated selection that blends traditional Chinese New Year elements with Foo’s modern Asian culinary style.
Running for one month from February 2026, the Chinese New Year menu will be available for a limited period at FOO restaurants across Mumbai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, and Pune, inviting guests to celebrate the season through dishes designed for sharing and festive dining.
The menu opens with a festive sushi selection featuring the Golden Prosperity Roll, featuring asparagus tempura, avocado, cream cheese, and a mustard zing sauce, finished with a sprinkling of gold dust, and the Fat Choy Chicken Roll, made with chicken, avocado, cream cheese, charcoal golden crunch, and chipotle sauce - rolls that balance indulgence with festive symbolism.
The dim sum offering includes the Fortune Cottage Cheese Dumpling, filled with cottage cheese and lotus root with a hint of sriracha, and the Harmony Prawn Dumpling, featuring prawns and leeks with red chilli, house-made chipotle sauce, and edible glitter.
Small plates continue the celebration with dishes such as Abundance Baby Potatoes, tossed with scallions, sesame seeds, and a house-made fragrant sauce; Fragrant Festival Chicken, prepared with fried chicken, scallions, snow peas, chilli, and oyster sauce; and the Celebration Asian Seabass, steamed and finished with red chilli and Sichuan sauce. The menu also features Three Treasure Prawns, combining crispy prawns with shredded egg, bird’s eye chilli, and scallions.
The festive spread is complemented by Prosperity XO Rice, made with steamed rice, edamame, pak choy, corn, house-made vegetarian XO sauce, and fried seaweed. To conclude on a sweet note, Red Fortune Cherry Delight brings together cherry mousse, white chocolate, chocolate sponge, and cherry filling, finished with mascarpone cream and a cocoa velvet spray.
Alongside the food, FOO introduces a seasonal selection of Chinese New Year cocktails crafted exclusively for the celebration. Highlights include A Royal Toast, with tequila, Campari, papaya purée, vanilla and ginger cordial with yuzu juice; Crimson Fizz, featuring dry beetroot-rested gin, Aperol, and Asian passionfruit lager cordial, along with a blend of Foo Brew; and Silk Route Sunset, made with Absolut Mandarin vodka, espresso Campari, amaro, creamy sherry, saline, and blood orange kombucha.
