SALT Indian Restaurant Opens Its Second Outlet in Pune, Bringing Contemporary Indian Flavours to Amanora

Pune’s vibrant dining scene welcomes an exciting new addition as SALT Indian Restaurant announces the launch of its second outlet in the city. Opening its doors at Amanora Mall, the new space marks an important milestone for the brand as it continues to expand its footprint in Pune. Known for its contemporary interpretation of Indian cuisine, SALT blends rich regional flavours with modern presentation, creating a dining experience that is both comforting and refreshingly innovative. With its warm ambience and inviting setting, the new outlet is designed to welcome diners looking to explore bold flavours, celebrate special moments, or simply indulge in a memorable meal with friends and family.

The expansion comes on the back of the overwhelming response SALT received from its first outlet in Pune. Recognising the city’s growing appetite for vibrant dining experiences, the brand saw an opportunity to bring its unique culinary philosophy to a wider audience. “Pune has always been a city that appreciates good food and vibrant dining experiences. The response we received to our first outlet here was incredibly encouraging, and it felt natural for us to expand further in the city. Our second outlet allows us to reach a wider audience while continuing to showcase SALT’s philosophy of making Indian cuisine more interesting,” shares Chef Balaji Balachander - Culinary Director and Co-founder at SALT Indian Restaurant.

At the heart of SALT’s menu lies a celebration of India’s diverse flavours, thoughtfully elevated through contemporary techniques and presentation. The new outlet continues this tradition while incorporating local influences, drawing inspiration from Maharashtra’s bold spices and regional ingredients. Diners can expect a menu that balances innovation with nostalgia, featuring standout dishes such as the Chard Chicken Burrata Salad, Thecha Broccoli, Mutton Sukha Golis, and Murgh Sakora Kebab. For those craving robust regional flavours, highlights like the Kolhapuri Mutton Cookerwala and Kombdi Cha Rassa promise a comforting yet elevated experience. The meal concludes on a sweet note with the indulgent Double Ka Meetha Pull Me Up, a playful twist on a classic favourite.

With this new space, SALT hopes to continue creating memorable dining experiences while celebrating the incredible depth and versatility of Indian cuisine. With its signature flavours, lively atmosphere, and a menu designed to delight both familiar patrons and new diners alike, SALT’s newest address is set to become another favourite on Pune’s culinary map.

A short cable car ride away in the island paradise of Hon Thom – Moxy Hotels and Fairfield by Marriott will command a prime beachside setting.

Phu Quoc, Vietnam's "Pearl Island,” has emerged as one of Asia’s most compelling tourism destinations with many world-class attractions developed by Sun Group. Marriott’s portfolio of hotels are set to serve as hospitality anchors within a synchronized destination mode with direct access to iconic assets such as the world’s longest three-wire cable car to Hon Thom Island, large-scale theme and water parks, internationally acclaimed multimedia shows, the Kiss Bridge and Sunset Town — where fireworks illuminate the sky every night, 365 days a year.

The addition of these seven new hotels and resorts, seamlessly woven into Sun Group's prestigious projects, is expected to enhance the destination’s status as an international hub for tourism, hospitality, leisure and MICE. The recent launch of Sun Group’s Sun Phu Quoc Airways has also added to the island’s international connectivity.

On Vietnam’s southeast coast, just a short drive from Ho Chi Minh City, the impressive new Vung Tau Blanca City development is planned to showcase three all-new properties under the Marriott Hotels, Moxy Hotels, and Four Points by Sheraton brands. With fast accessibility from the newly opened Long Thanh International Airport, this is set to become a prime beachfront destination for domestic and international travelers alike.

These 10 new properties will complement Marriott’s existing portfolio of 32 properties currently operating across Vietnam, spanning 11 of the group’s extraordinary brands, with more than 50 properties in the development pipeline.

Inside Mumbai’s New Wave of Design-Forward Cocktail Bars

Mumbai’s cocktail culture is entering a new chapter. For years, the city’s nightlife leaned toward large venues, high-energy music, and drinks designed for speed rather than experience. Today, however, a new generation of bars is shifting the conversation toward atmosphere, architecture, and thoughtful design spaces where the setting shapes how the evening unfolds.

Across neighbourhoods like Bandra, bars are increasingly embracing a slower, more intentional approach to hospitality. Lighting, spatial flow, textures, and acoustics are becoming as important as the cocktails themselves. These design-forward spaces are smaller, more intimate, and crafted to encourage conversation and lingering, reflecting a global shift where cocktail bars feel closer to cultural living rooms than nightlife venues.

Tucked discreetly behind the white façade of Olive in Bandra, Call Me Sofia is one of the most compelling examples of this design-forward movement. Conceived by AD Singh and the Olive Group, the bar introduces a concept rarely explored in the city before the Italian aperitivo ritual, where the early evening becomes a moment to pause, gather, and ease gradually into the night.

Unlike traditional cocktail bars that centre themselves around a dominant bar counter or dramatic design statement, Sofia’s layout unfolds with deliberate softness. The semi-open structure allows the space to breathe, drawing in natural light and air from the courtyard while creating a fluid connection between indoors and outdoors. As daylight fades, the bar gradually transforms from a sunlit gathering space into a warm, golden refuge that feels perfectly suited to lingering conversations.

The design, led by Sabina Singh and the Olive Group’s in-house team, blends rustic Italian references with Bandra’s relaxed sensibility. Warm wood tones, textured surfaces, and softly lit alcoves create a space that feels quietly elegant rather than performative. At its centre stands a long-standing tree from the Olive courtyard, thoughtfully integrated into the bar’s layout as an organic focal point that anchors the room in both memory and place.

This thoughtful design philosophy reflects a broader shift in Mumbai’s hospitality landscape. Rather than overwhelming guests with spectacle, bars like Call Me Sofia are crafting environments where people instinctively slow down. The architecture invites conversation, the lighting softens the evening, and the space itself becomes part of the experience.

As Mumbai’s evolving drinkers grow increasingly curious about more mindful, design-forward cocktail bars, Sofia doesn’t attempt to dominate the room. Instead, it quietly shapes the evening around it, one where architecture, ambience, and aperitivo cocktails come together to create a space that feels as much about the moment as it does about the drink.

Kaziranga Heritage Inaugurated by Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma

A landmark heritage hospitality initiative through Public–Private Partnership

Kaziranga Heritage, a distinctive heritage hospitality destination located in the heart of Assam’s globally renowned Kaziranga landscape, was formally inaugurated on 3rd March 2026 by the Honourable Chief Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma, in the presence of dignitaries, officials, and distinguished guests.

The project marks a significant milestone in Assam’s tourism development, being a strategic Public–Private Partnership (PPP) between the Assam Tourism Development Corporation (ATDC) and Centre Point Hospitality Group. The initiative reflects a shared vision to strengthen heritage tourism infrastructure while celebrating the ecological, cultural, and historical legacy of Kaziranga.

A Hospitality Experience Rooted in Landscape and History

Set amidst the floodplains shaped by the Brahmaputra River system and the Kohora River, Kaziranga Heritage has been envisioned not as a resort that competes with its surroundings, but one that quietly participates in the landscape. The estate sits within a region whose conservation story spans more than a century—from its early designation as a proposed reserve forest in 1905 to its recognition as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a legacy that continues to shape the experience offered to visitors.

The property celebrates the intersection of heritage, ecology, and contemporary hospitality, offering guests a stay that is deeply connected to the rhythms of Kaziranga’s natural environment.

Bonani Bungalow: The Historic Heart of the Estate

At the centre of the estate stands Bonani Bungalow, the historic core of Kaziranga Heritage. Guest records preserved within the property date back to 1938, making it one of the earliest documented hospitality structures associated with Kaziranga’s tourism history.

Built in the colonial Assam-type architectural tradition, Bonani reflects a practical elegance shaped by climate and terrain—featuring raised plinths to accommodate seasonal floods, deep verandahs for shade, and steep sloping roofs designed to endure monsoon conditions. Archival registers and photographs preserved at the property quietly trace Kaziranga’s transformation from vulnerable grasslands into one of the world’s most celebrated wildlife landscapes.

An Estate Designed Around Heritage and Ecology

The estate comprises 28 thoughtfully designed rooms distributed across multiple heritage-inspired living spaces:

  • Bonani Bungalow – 10 heritage rooms forming the historic core

  • Bonoshree – 8 rooms envisioned as a cultural salon, integrating curated literature, archival imagery, and art that explore Assam’s ecological and Vaishnavite traditions

  • Kohora River View Cottages – 6 cottages overlooking the serene Kohora River floodplains

  • Kunjobon Presidential Suites & Duplex – 4 luxury suites with private plunge pools, landscaped courtyards, and elevated views toward the Orchid Park

Across the estate, Assam-type architectural principles remain consistent, with elevated structures, transitional verandah spaces, and natural materials chosen for durability and climate sensitivity.

Culinary Heritage: Dining Inspired by Assamese Traditions

Kaziranga Heritage also introduces a 48-seater destination restaurant, where culinary traditions of Assam are interpreted through wood-fired chullah cooking techniques. The menu celebrates slow-cooked regional recipes prepared with locally sourced ingredients while drawing subtle inspiration from Southeast Asian influences that historically shaped Assam’s culinary landscape.

The restaurant’s architecture itself draws inspiration from the traditional Assamese Jaapi, an enduring symbol of hospitality and welcome. The roof design reinterprets the form through contemporary architectural expression, featuring a ceramic articulation along the ridge created by Assamese ceramic artist Jaya Boro, who also serves as Head of the Department at Shantiniketan’s ceramic studio. The roof is crowned with a copper pinnacle, reinforcing the cultural symbolism embedded in the structure.

Art, Culture and Conservation Narratives

Kaziranga Heritage integrates art and history as part of the guest experience. The estate’s curated art collection includes works by Assamese artist Mridu Moshum Bora, whose paintings depict Vaishnavite traditions, dance forms, and the wildlife landscapes of Kaziranga.

The property also features dedicated tributes to legendary Assamese cultural icons Bhupen Hazarika and Zubeen Garg, acknowledging the profound influence of music and storytelling in shaping Assam’s cultural identity.

Historic wildlife photographs, including archival works attributed to noted conservationist Edward Pritchard Gee, are preserved within the estate. These photographs document a time when the survival of Kaziranga’s wildlife was uncertain and serve as a reminder of the conservation efforts that helped transform the region into one of the world’s most important wildlife habitats.

A Collaborative Cultural Endeavour

Kaziranga Heritage stands as a collaborative endeavour that brings together architects, artists, historians, naturalists, and craftsmen from Assam. From the architectural language of the estate to the art installations and culinary traditions, the project reflects a collective effort by individuals deeply connected to the land and culture of the region.

Strengthening Heritage Tourism in Assam

The inauguration of Kaziranga Heritage represents a significant step toward enhancing Assam’s heritage and eco-tourism ecosystem. Through its Public–Private Partnership model, the project demonstrates how thoughtful hospitality infrastructure can preserve historical memory, celebrate cultural identity, and contribute to sustainable tourism development.

With its blend of history, architecture, art, and landscape, Kaziranga Heritage seeks to offer visitors not merely accommodation, but an experience that reflects the enduring spirit of Assam and the evolving story of Kaziranga.

Sayaji Hotels Expands Strategic Presence with Business-Centric Effotel by Sayaji in Sangli

Sangli, Maharashtra, March, 2026: In a significant development for Western Maharashtra’s hospitality landscape, Sayaji Hotels announced the launch of Effotel by Sayaji, Sangli, the group’s newest property under its Effotel brand. Strategically located within Shiv R City Mall on Sangli-Miraj Road, the property marks a timely entry into Sangli, a city long known for its robust commercial and agricultural activity yet notably underserved in quality branded accommodation.

This addition makes Effotel by Sayaji, Sangli, the third Effotel property in Maharashtra, joining its sister properties in Sarola, Pune district, and Navi Mumbai, reinforcing the group’s deepening commitment to the state and its vision of bringing mid-upscale hospitality to Tier-2 and Tier-3 markets.

Effotel by Sayaji, Sangli offers 59 thoughtfully appointed guest rooms across five categories: 15 Grande Rooms (284 sq. ft.), 34 Premium Grande Rooms (309 sq. ft.), 6 Executive Grande Rooms (373 sq. ft.), 2 Grande Suites (506 sq. ft.), and 2 Premium Suites (766 sq. ft.), catering to business travellers, leisure guests, and discerning long-stay visitors alike.

Dining at the property is set to be a key highlight, with two distinct food and beverage outlets: The Cube, an all-day dining restaurant with a capacity of 120 covers, and Good Old Days, a bar seating 30 guests, catering to both hotel residents and local patrons seeking quality dining experiences in the city.

The hotel features two versatile banquet spaces, Jardin 1 and Jardin 2. Jardin 1 spans 4,295 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 350 guests in theatre-style seating, while Jardin 2 covers 2,355 sq. ft. with a capacity of 150 guests in a theatre format. Together, they position Effotel by Sayaji, Sangli as a well-equipped MICE and social event destination in the city, a significant advantage in a market that has historically lacked premium banqueting facilities.

Widely regarded as the Turmeric Capital of India, Sangli is a thriving agrarian and commercial hub also known for its grape cultivation. Conveniently located just 7 km from Sangli Railway Station and 50 km from Kolhapur Airport, the property ensures easy access for both domestic travellers and regional visitors.

The property’s location is particularly strategic given Sangli’s proximity to Kolhapur, a major cultural and commercial centre housing the revered Mahalakshmi Temple and a rapidly growing business district, as well as access to notable regional attractions including Chandoli National Park in the Western Ghats, Sagareshwar Wildlife Sanctuary, Sangli Fort, and the serene Dandoba Hills Forest Reserve.

Mr. Rajendra Joshi, Associate General Manager at Sayaji Hotels, said, “Sangli has always been an economically active and culturally significant city, yet it has not had the branded hospitality infrastructure its stature deserves. Effotel by Sayaji, Sangli changes that narrative. This is not just another hotel opening; it is a commitment to elevating the travel and events experience for an entire region. With our Effotel brand, we bring the promise of quality, warmth, and value to markets ready to embrace it. The Kolhapur-Sangli belt represents tremendous potential for business and leisure travel, and we are proud to be the first from our portfolio to plant our flag here.”

Mr. Avinash Gangwani, Director, LKG Lifestyle LLP, shared, “When we envisioned this project, we saw a clear gap. Sangli is a city that punches well above its weight economically, but visitors and business delegations have had very few quality accommodation options. Being part of the Effotel by Sayaji family brings not just a trusted brand name but a proven model of hospitality excellence. Now that we have handed over our property to Sayaji Group, we place complete trust in their exceptional services and operational expertise. We are confident this property will redefine Sangli’s position on Maharashtra’s hospitality map and will serve as a catalyst for the city’s growing tourism and corporate event ecosystem, especially given our proximity to the pilgrimage and tourism circuit around Kolhapur.”

For families, pilgrims, corporate delegates, MICE groups, agri-trade professionals visiting Sangli’s markets, and tourists using Sangli as a base to explore the Kolhapur-Sangli belt, this property is set to become a natural first choice.

The Studs Sports Bar & Grill Opens Flagship Taproom & Diner in Sahakarnagar, Expanding Its Upgraded Social Sports Bar Format in North Bangalore After Embassy Tech Village Success

The Studs – a social bar built for daily dining, curated drinks and the shared energy of sports.

Bangalore, March 2026 – Following the continued success of its high-energy outlet at Embassy Tech Village and JP Nagar, The Studs Sports Bar & Grill expands further in Bangalore with the launch of its next flagship in Sahakarnagar — an evolved, neighbourhood-first format tailored for North Bangalore’s growing residential and corporate community. The doors officially open to the public from 7th March onwards

The Sahakarnagar outlet marks a strategic upgrade in the brands' city journey, building on the loyalty developed at its earlier JP Nagar presence, while introducing a refined, everyday social bar experience designed for habit-driven dining and weekday culture.

Spread across 5,000 sq. ft. with a 130-seater layout, the outlet is positioned as an ideal neighbourhood daily bar — a place to stress bust after work, host casual corporate evenings, gather with family, or unwind over great food and drinks without crossing the city.

With 10 beers on tap, including multiple Craft beers, the space offers one of the stronger tap programs in North Bangalore, complemented by curated cocktails and a menu engineered for repeat visits.

“The momentum we have seen at Embassy Tech Village reaffirmed that people are looking for immersive yet comfortable social spaces,” said Miten Shah, Co-Founder. “With Sahakarnagar, we have taken that learning and evolved it further. This is not positioned as just a match destination — it’s designed to become part of the neighbourhood’s everyday rhythm.”

Abhilash Menon, Co-Founder, added, “Sahakarnagar allowed us to upgrade the format. While live sport remains part of our DNA, this outlet balances that energy with warmth and familiarity. It’s an everyday bar for corporates around the area and a high-energy social sports club for residents — a space that feels just as natural on a Tuesday evening as it does during a tournament final.”

Designed for the Neighbourhood

Unlike traditional sports bars positioned purely around big-match screenings, the Sahakarnagar outlet introduces a balanced social environment. Premium audio-visual integration ensures immersive viewing without disturbing the dining experience.

The objective is simple: to become the default neighbourhood choice within a 3–4 km radius — a consistent, high-energy yet comfortable social space for residents and nearby corporates.

The menu is crafted for everyday dining, featuring contemporary global plates and modern Indian favourites designed for sharing — from Togarashi Lotus and Chilly Plum Babycorn to Truffle Mushroom Potli and Kalmi Paneer Tikka. Larger plates such as Tartufo Mushroom Pasta, Fiery Asian Sizzler, Chettinad Pepper Paneer, Spicy Cilantro Chicken Pizza, The Studs Smash Burger, and Slow-cooked Ceylon Lamb Curry add heartiness, while desserts like Rasmalai Panna Cotta and Dark Matter offer a memorable finish. With interactive gaming elements, curated music programming, and comfortable seating designed for extended sittings, the outlet blends vibrant sports culture with neighbourhood familiarity.

City’s favourite Mangalorean Food Destination Bastian Ammakai Now Serves you Early Breakfast and a New Pre-Drinks Menu!

Bastian Ammakai, part of Ranjit Bindra’s Bastian Hospitality, has extended its operating rhythm with early breakfast hours and the introduction of a pre-drinks menu with Appa, further underscoring its all-day positioning.

Mornings at Ammakai now begin earlier, with breakfast service running from 9 AM to 12 PM. The refreshed format draws from comforting South Indian flavours such as Masala Dosas, ghee podi Idlis and Stuffed Paniyaram, complemented by a few global breakfast favourites, including waffles and wholesome breakfast bowls. The shift reflects evolving dining patterns, as hospitality spaces increasingly cater to early social meetings, work catch-ups and morning-led gatherings.

In the evening, the restaurant has introduced a Pre-Drinks Menu with Appa, creating a dedicated early-evening window before dinner and late-night plans. The menu features a 2+2 offer on select spirits, applicable to the first order of the same drink. Designed for guests who prefer starting their evenings out, this reflects the growing pre-drinking culture in urban cities, where socialising begins at restaurants rather than at home.

Commenting on the development, Ranjit Bindra, Founder and CEO of Bastian Hospitality, said, “As a hospitality company, we’re constantly observing how urban social habits are changing. There is a growing demand for well-curated morning breakfast spreads and early-evening experiences. With Ammakai, we saw an opportunity to address both within the same space, while keeping the food and beverages rooted in character.”

Notably, Ammakai marks Bastian Hospitality’s debut into Mangalorean cuisine. Conceptually rooted in the tastes and sensibilities of South Indian mothers, the restaurant positions itself around comfort-driven flavours and nostalgic memory-led cooking.

Vaarta Launches in Goa as the First Restaurant Redefining Indian Street Food Through Interactive Dining

A 160-Year-Old Home Where Indian Street Food, Memory and Conversation Come Together

National, February, 2026: In a restored 160-year-old Goan home tucked away in Sangolda, a new restaurant is quietly changing the way Indian street food is experienced. Vaarta, a fine-dine yet deeply approachable concept, opens its doors with a simple but powerful idea: food is never just about flavour it’s about memory, conversation, and belonging.

Unlike conventional street food destinations, Vaarta is not a chaat counter or a nostalgia-themed café. It is a carefully thought-through dining experience that gives Indian street food the time, dignity, and emotion it deserves, set within a heritage Goan home that already carries stories of its own.

What makes Vaarta first-of-its-kind in Goa is how interactive nostalgia is woven into the experience. Guests are welcomed by a live Puchka counter that anchors the experience, where each puchka is assembled fresh . They can choose from fillings like Aloo Masala, Aloo Dum, Dahi Aloo and Churmur, before selecting from the house-made waters from Sharp Jaljira and Tangy Tetul to sweet Saunth and cooling Pudina recreating the anticipation of a bustling street-side ritual, now reimagined in an intimate heritage setting.

Adding to the theatre is a ‘Make Your Own Barf Ka Gola’ cart, brought directly to the table, allowing diners to personalise flavours, textures, and spice levels turning a familiar childhood treat into a shared, conversational moment.

The space itself sets the tone long before the menu arrives. The 160-year-old home has been thoughtfully restored, with its original arches, aged flooring, and vintage windows preserved . The lighting is interconnected across the space, and the use of vintage round bakelite power switches has been intentionally retained to bring in an old-world, nostalgic feel. Rather than redesigning the house to fit a concept, Vaarta lets the home lead creating an atmosphere that feels intimate, unhurried, and deeply rooted in Goa.

“Vaarta was born from a simple longing, the kind of food that carries memory and invites conversation. I didn’t want to recreate street food; I wanted to give it the space and respect it deserves.” says Neha Mehta, Founder of Vaarta

The menu is rooted in Indian street food traditions from across cities and states, approached with care, restraint and deep respect for their origins. Each dish is thoughtfully composed to evoke memory while preserving the warmth, spontaneity and comfort that lie at the heart of street food.

It flows seamlessly from chaat favourites such as Palak Patta Chaat, Jhal Muri and Tokri Chaat to familiar, comforting snacks like Chelo Kebab, Suz Ke Seekh and Aloo Ki Taheri. The bar bites features flavour-forward plates including Spinach Chop, Tujj Tikka and Chicken Roast Kulcha, while the main courses celebrate regional depth with dishes like Dalcha Gosht, Gavran Chicken, Bharwaan Karela, Moti Pulao and Cholar Dal amongst others. Desserts bring the experience to a nostalgic close, with classics such as Bhapa Doi, Patishapta, Payasam, Shahi Tukda and Basundi offering a quiet sense of indulgence.

The bar menu mirrors the spirit of the kitchen, offering a playful yet thoughtful selection of drinks inspired by familiar Indian flavours. From the Pani Puri Popper and Kala Khatta Kamikaze to the Masala Chai Martini, Nimbu Mirch Margarita and Aam Panna Sour, each cocktail reimagines everyday tastes in unexpected ways. Lighter, refreshing options like the Shikanji Sparkler and Rose & Cardamom Lassi add a nostalgic finish, making the bar experience both inventive and comfortingly familiar.

Vaarta speaks equally to Goans, long-term settlers, and travellers. For locals, it recalls familiar flavours tied to markets, seaside evenings, and everyday indulgences. For those who have moved to Goa, it offers an emotional anchor, a reminder of flavours that once shaped home. And for travellers, it becomes an unexpected discovery: a place where Indian street food feels both refined and deeply personal.

In a state known for beach shacks and global cuisine, Vaarta offers something different: an intimate return to Indian flavours that shaped childhoods and cities alike. Here, street food slows down, conversations linger, and every bite carries a story.

The hotel is located at Ward No. 20, Manda Road, Khatushyam Ji, District Sikar (Rajasthan) – 332602, and is operated under the management model, with the deal finalised on 15th January 2026.

With 40 well-appointed rooms, a 40-cover café, and a 120-cover highway restaurant, OPO Horizon Surbhi Grant has been thoughtfully designed to cater to both pilgrims and corporate travellers visiting the region. The property is already operational and welcoming guests, offering a comfortable and reliable stay experience in one of Rajasthan’s most spiritually significant locations.

Khatu Shyam Ji is among India’s most visited pilgrimage destinations, drawing millions of devotees each year to the revered Khatu Shyam Ji Temple. The temple is especially known for its unique rituals and the annual Phalgun Mela, during which the town witnesses an extraordinary surge in footfall. OPO Horizon Surbhi Grant’s strategic location near the temple makes it a natural choice for pilgrims seeking proximity, convenience, and restful accommodation during their visit.

Being a newly built property, the hotel reflects OPO’s focus on clean design, modern amenities, and efficient layouts that support short stays as well as extended visits. The inclusion of both a café and a large highway restaurant allows the hotel to serve temple visitors, families, tour groups, and passing travellers with ease, while also supporting corporate movement in and around the region.

Speaking on the opening, Sandeep Basu, Chief Executive Officer, OPO Hotels & Resorts, said, "Khatu Shyam Ji holds deep emotional and spiritual significance for millions of devotees across the country. With OPO Horizon Surbhi Grant, our intent is to offer a stay experience that feels respectful, comfortable, and dependable during what is often a deeply personal journey for our guests. This property reflects our belief that hospitality near pilgrimage destinations should focus on ease, cleanliness, and thoughtful service. As OPO expands, we are consciously building hotels in locations where demand is real and year-round, and where a well-run, quality hotel can genuinely add value to the traveller’s experience."

The addition of OPO Horizon Surbhi Grant marks an important step in OPO Hotels’ Rajasthan expansion strategy. As pilgrimage and religious tourism continues to grow steadily, the brand is focusing on destinations that see consistent footfall beyond seasonal travel. Khatu Shyam Ji represents such a market, with strong year-round demand driven by faith-based travel and regional connectivity.

With this opening, OPO Hotels strengthens its emphasis on expanding across culturally and economically significant locations while maintaining its focus on quality mid-scale hospitality. The new property at Khatu Shyam ji stands as another example of the brand’s approach to thoughtful growth where location, purpose, and guest needs come together to create stays that are simple, comfortable, and meaningful.
