Top 6 Monsoon Getaways in Maharashtra Where the Clouds Come Home

There is a particular kind of madness that grips the traveller the moment the sky turns that bruised, pewter grey and the first fat drops begin to fall on parched earth. In Maharashtra, this madness has a name, and six very good addresses. By June, the Western Ghats are already pulling clouds off the Arabian Sea, the rivers swell, the waterfalls throw themselves off cliffs with reckless abandon, and the hills go so green they almost hurt to look at.

  1. Jawhar

Maharashtra has its own Darjeeling, and almost nobody knows about it. Jawhar, a former princely state tucked into the forested hills of Palghar district, wears its obscurity well. The Dabhosa waterfall, one of the highest in the state at over 500 feet, is the centrepiece, but the real reason to come in June is the quality of silence here. The Warli tribe has lived in these hills for centuries, and their geometric art, white figures on mud walls, appears on homes throughout the village.

  1. Chikhaldara

The only coffee-growing hill station in Maharashtra sits at 1,118 metres in the Satpura range, so far from the Western Ghats crowd that it operates in its own atmospheric timezone. With the coffee plantations glistening, Chikhaldara in June is almost comically green. The Melghat Tiger Reserve on its doorstep breathes mist into the valleys each morning, and the Bhimkund waterfall crashes through the forest with the kind of force that makes conversation impossible.

  1. Matheran

India's only automobile-free hill station gets considerably more itself in June when the narrow-gauge toy train climbs through cloud-hung forest, and the red-mud paths are empty of summer crowds. The famous viewpoints such as Echo Point, Panorama Point, and Monkey Point are frequently obscured by mist, which is, paradoxically, their best version. You hear the valley before you see it. The whole place exists at a pace that the monsoon enforces, and the soul quietly thanks.

  1. Koyna Nagar

Long before travellers discovered the vocabulary of slow tourism, Koyna Nagar was already practising it. Built around the vast Shiv Sagar Lake, formed by the Koyna Dam, this small lake town in Satara district sits within an eco-sensitive zone where development has been, by necessity and by choice, kept to a minimum. In June, the forests thicken visibly by the day, and the boat ride across Shiv Sagar to reach the trailhead for Vasota Fort is one of those journeys that renders the destination almost secondary.

  1. Malshej Ghat

The Konkan railway may be Maharashtra's monsoon icon, but Malshej Ghat is its unsung poem. The plateau waterfalls cascade across the ghats in sheets, flamingos occasionally shelter in the water bodies near Pimpalgaon Joga Dam, and the entire landscape operates under a near-constant veil of cloud. The fort of Harishchandragad nearby draws the serious trekker, while the ghats themselves satisfy anyone who simply wants to stand in the rain and feel unreasonably glad to be alive.

  1. Amboli

Amboli sits at the southern edge of Maharashtra's Konkan coast, a hill station so lush and so consistently overlooked that its waterfalls and viewpoints feel like genuine discoveries even in the age of Instagram. The Amboli Ghat receives some of the heaviest rainfall in the Sahyadris, and the forest here, home to the rare Amboli bush frog, is the real headline. June is when the mist settles lowest, the waterfalls run highest, and the frogs sing loudest. It is, quietly, one of Maharashtra's finest monsoon secrets.

Maharashtra in June asks only one thing of you: that you show up willing to be rained on, delayed, rerouted, and occasionally stranded at a dhaba with a glass of tea and nowhere particular to be. That, as it turns out, is not a bad way to travel. It may, in fact, be the only way that counts.

Three Sky-High Thai Bars Put Sunset on The Menu with Diverse Dining Experiences

HAILAND, (June , 2026) – From artisan Thai cheese and local wine pairings in Chiang Mai to Spanish-style social hours in Bangkok and wood-smoked Peking duck overlooking Pattaya’s coastline, a trio of sky bars across Thailand are pairing panoramic sunset views with markedly different food and drink experiences.

Meliá Chiang Mai’s MAI The Sky Bar is offering ‘Artisan Thai Cheese & Wine Pairing’ daily from 6pm, featuring a glass of Thai wine from Monsoon Valley in Hua Hin paired with a rotating selection of artisanal cheeses from Chiang Mai producer Jartisann. The small-batch cheesemaker works with locally sourced raw milk, with selections changing according to seasonal availability.

‘MAI The Sky’ cocktail references the venue’s golden hour by blending lychee and vanilla beneath a cloud-like cava air foam, topped with a miniature aeroplane designed to mirror aircraft visible overhead. Cocktail ‘Temple’ combines Siam Lanna Gin with a Niem-Sompoi cordial made with Sompoi, a botanical associated with spiritual cleansing, and Niem leaves.

This month named a 2026 Tatler Best Spotlight Bar by Tatler Asia, the 360-degree rooftop bar on the hotel’s 22nd floor affords views of the Ping River to the city’s east and famed Doi Suthep Temple on the mountaintop to the west. A glass bridge connects the bar’s highest seating areas.

In Bangkok, INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit’s LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar stages a two-for-one sunset drinks promotion daily dubbed ‘Social Hours’ from 5-7pm, pouring selected wines, Chang draught beer and signature cocktails. Options include Tinto Sour, made with bourbon whiskey, red wine, lemon and sea buckthorn-rooibos honey, and Cremoso, which combines white rum, cava sparkling wine, tiramisu syrup, mascarpone and soy milk.

As the sun sinks, the hotel’s 34th floor, featuring a pool bar, transparent infinity pool, and rooftop terrace dotted with outdoor lounges, sunbeds and a contemporary interpretation of Bangkok’s Brahman structure The Giant Swing, becomes an upper-floor extension of 33rd floor LUZ. In a spectacle unlike any other in Bangkok, diners on the 33rd floor peer into the bottom of the pool.

The venue has also launched a new menu by Madrid-born Spanish Chef de Cuisine Juan Ignacio García Racionero, with dishes referencing regional Spanish styles including Basque pintxos, Madrid-inspired tapas, Andalusian seafood and eastern coastal rice dishes.

A short commute from Bangkok, Meliá Pattaya Hotel’s Yitong Chinese Restaurant & Sky Bar on the 12th floor offers ‘A Feast of Flavour’ experience underpinned by a traditional wood-smoked Peking duck Hong Kong style, served from 5pm, with traditional accompaniments and Gulf of Thailand vistas. Paying homage to the longstanding Chinese communities of Chonburi and their shrines and markets, the name Yitong translates to “together”, with dishes served family-style to encourage shared meals and connectedness.

The food and beverage menus have a prime focus on “goodness for the body, mind and soul”. The cocktail list incorporates Chinese ingredients and references throughout, with sunset signatures including ‘Kuaile De’, made with goji berry-infused gin, honey, lemon juice and cava; ‘Chun Hou’, blending brandy, orange curaçao, rosella tea and rose syrup; and ‘Tian De’, featuring Campari infused with ginseng alongside Chinese liquor and brown sugar syrup. Non-alcoholic options are similarly considered, with mocktails such as the ‘Virgin Chit-Cha Toddy’ comprising oolong tea, lemon juice, ginger syrup and cinnamon.

Zero Proof, Full Drama: Call Me Sofia Bets on Mumbai's Sober-Curious Generation

Across Mumbai's bar scene, a new kind of regular is showing up earlier in the evening, and ordering differently. Raised on wellness culture and an open conversation about moderation, Gen Z drinkers are driving a global swing toward low- and no-alcohol nights out, and India's metros are very much part of that shift. A single mocktail tacked onto the end of a cocktail list, treated as the consolation prize for the designated driver, no longer cuts it for a generation that wants the ritual and the glamour of a great drink, minus the alcohol.

Call Me Sofia, the Italian-style aperitivo bar tucked behind Olive Bandra's iconic white walls, is answering that shift with intent. The bar's entire identity is built on a low-ABV philosophy, championing aperitifs and lighter sipping over heavy pours, and that instinct now extends into a dedicated Zero Proof Cocktails menu, where every drink carries the same house-made syrups, oleos, foams and finishing flourishes as Sofia's signature, full-strength pours.

Each of the four cocktails is designed to be ordered on its own merit, not as a substitute. The line-up:

First Base - a grape and oregano cordial, carbonated and finished with a paper-thin carrot slice.

Pick Me Up - a coffee-forward sip built on cold brew, orgeat, lemon and chocolate bitters, served alongside an almond-slim biscotti.

Naked - a strawberry and mint oleo balanced with balsamic and white pepper, topped with an edible flower set in isomalt.

The Evening After - rice syrup, butter apple and mascarpone foam, finished with printed rice paper.

The zero-proof programme sits within Sofia's wider small-plates menu and golden-lit, semi-open courtyard space in Khar West. For a generation increasingly choosing how much, or how little, to drink on a given night, Call Me Sofia is wagering that the answer to “what are you having?” shouldn’t require an explanation.

JASHN 2.0 Brings Music, Elements, and Cuisine Together at LOYA, Taj West End, Bengaluru

LOYA, Taj West End, Bengaluru recently hosted the city premiere of JASHN 2.0, the second edition of its signature music album, on 5th May 2026, as part of its celebrated Qissa series. Conceived as an immersive evening where sound, story, and culinary artistry converged, the experience was crafted to be savoured as much as it was heard.

Curated and composed by acclaimed musician Shreyas PatkarJASHN draws inspiration from the five universal elements Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Space and their intrinsic relationship with LOYA’s distinctive culinary techniques. From the smoky theatre of dhungar and the aromatic crescendo of baghaar, to the slow indulgence of dum cooking and the primal allure of the open-fire sigdi, the album translates the language of the kitchen into a meticulously composed musical narrative.

Richly layered with instrumentation including santoor, sitar, ghatam, flute, tabla, and bass guitarJASHN seamlessly blends classical Indian soundscapes with a contemporary lounge sensibility. Each composition is thoughtfully designed to complement the cuisine, creating an orchestrated dialogue between plate, palate, and performance.

The evening unfolded with Raahein, a melodic journey tracing LOYA’s culinary trail from Kashmir to Punjab, followed by Thumka with Dungaar, a spirited fusion of Thumri and modern rhythm that echoed the moment smoke rises as a pot is lifted from the fire.

Adding to this, Mr. Taljinder Singh, Senior Vice President and Brand Custodian, IHCL, remarked, “LOYA has always been a celebration of craft, culture, and storytelling. With JASHN unveiled as LOYA’s second signature music album, we extend this philosophy beyond the plate, creating an experience where music becomes an integral part of the dining journey: immersive, evocative, and as thoughtfully layered as the cuisine itself. Inspired by the cultural nuances of the land, its people, languages, and changing seasons, LOYA has shaped a musical narrative that transcends the restaurant. With both albums now available on Spotify, guests can experience the spirit of LOYA beyond the dining space.”

Expanding beyond the dining space, JASHN has evolved into a collaborative platform featuring celebrated artists including Padmashree Shankar Mahadevan and Pandit Suresh Bapat, and is now available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music, Instagram Audio, and YouTube.

Visitor Registration have opened for WTE Miami 2026

  • Representation from more than 70 countries, including 20+ National Tourism Organizations and Convention Bureaus, making WTE Miami one of the most internationally diverse travel trade events in the Americas

  • The Travel Advisor of the Future Conference to feature 20+ sessions and 100+ speakers examining the future of travel distribution, sales, technology and traveler behavior

  • Direct access to the buyers, advisors and travel professionals driving more than 9.3 million monthly U.S. outbound departures

MIAMI, June 25, 2026 — WTE Miami will bring together the global travel industry to explore the trends, technologies and partnerships shaping the future of tourism on October 27-28, 2026 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Visitor registration is now open for the Event, which is expected to double in size and impact after its acquisition earlier this year by Fairfest Media.

Over 500 exhibitors, 7,000 buyers, 500 hosted and VIP buyers, and senior industry leaders from around the world will converge for the largest gathering of National Tourism Organizations at any travel trade show in the Americas.

"The travel industry is entering one of the most significant periods of transformation in its history," said Simon Press, managing director international, Fairfest Inc. “Artificial intelligence is changing how travelers discover and book destinations. Consumer expectations continue to evolve, new distribution channels are emerging and competition for the American traveler has never been greater. The U.S. outbound and domestic travel market continues to thrive. WTE Miami has been created to give the North American travel industry the practical knowledge and global business connections needed to succeed in this rapidly changing environment."

Preparing the Industry for Travel Advisor of the Future

At the center of this year's event is the theme “Travel Advisor of the Future,” reflecting the evolving role of advisors as technology, traveler expectations and distribution models continue to evolve. The WTE agenda will feature more than 100 speakers across 20+ sessions diving into the trends, technologies and business models shaping the future of travel distribution and sales. Sessions will explore how AI is transforming destination marketing, customer engagement and distribution, alongside the latest intelligence on U.S. consumer behavior, outbound travel trends, travel advisor influence, social media, creator-led destination discovery and data-driven tourism marketing.

The program is being developed in collaboration with industry organizations and partners including Host Agency Reviews (HAR), the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and the African Travel Association (ATA) — helping ensure the conference combines practical advisor education, destination expertise and global industry perspectives. Every session is designed to equip travel professionals with tangible strategies to improve performance, strengthen partnerships and identify new opportunities for growth.

A Global Marketplace Built Around Business

WTE Miami has been designed to deliver measurable commercial outcomes, not simply exhibition space. Combining pre-scheduled business meetings, strategic networking and an executive conference program, the show connects destinations, airlines, hotels, travel advisors, tour operators, technology providers and tourism organizations with qualified buyers actively seeking new products, partnerships and business opportunities.

WTE Miami's buyer program will facilitate thousands of pre-scheduled and on-the-spot meetings between exhibitors and qualified buyers from across the U.S. travel ecosystem — ranging from independent agencies and home-based travel advisors to partnership teams of host agencies and consortia — creating opportunities for new partnerships, market expansion and commercial growth.

With exhibitors spanning every sector of the travel ecosystem, WTE Miami provides a platform where international suppliers can access one of the world's most valuable travel markets while developing long-term commercial relationships across North America and beyond.

Backed by Industry Leaders

WTE Miami is being delivered in collaboration with Miami International Airport (MIA) and the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB), reinforcing Miami's position as one of the world's premier international travel gateways.

The event has also been supported by leading global travel associations including Skål, ASTA, ATTA, and ATA, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening international tourism and creating new opportunities for destinations and the wider travel industry. More than 20 national tourism organizations are expected to participate in WTE Miami 2026, alongside destinations, airlines, hospitality companies and travel technology providers from more than 70 countries.

Confirmed participants include the Jamaica Tourist Board, South African Tourism, China National Tourist Office, Cayman Islands Dept. of Tourism, Maldives Mission to the United Nations, Belize Tourism Board, Honduras Tourism, Royal Jordanian, Iberia, SKY Airline, Frenchbee, Marriott International, Hyatt Hotels, Juniper Travel Technology, TBO.com and many more exhibitors and partners to be announced in the coming months.

The Weekend Breakfast by Kinya Coffee

The cafés of Paris.
The breakfast rooms of London.
The corner coffee houses of Melbourne.

Places where the day begins slowly, conversations happen naturally, and breakfast is treated as an occasion rather than a necessity.

For years, Bengaluru has been celebrated for its nightlife and thriving bar culture. But increasingly, the city is discovering a different rhythm, one that starts much earlier. From long filter coffee conversations to leisurely weekend brunches, breakfast culture in Bengaluru is evolving into an experience in itself.

At the heart of this shift is Indiranagar, arguably the city's cultural hub where food, coffee, creativity and community come together. A neighbourhood known for setting trends and shaping how the city eats, drinks and gathers.

The Weekend Breakfast by Kinya Coffee is a celebration of this new morning culture.

Every Saturday and Sunday, guests are invited to slow down and enjoy a thoughtfully curated breakfast experience built around exceptional coffee, comforting dishes and the simple pleasure of taking your time.

The menu brings together some of the world's most beloved breakfast traditions from Eggs Benedict and Turkish Çılbır to Shakshuka, Japanese Tamago Sandwiches, breakfast boards, pancakes and French toast. Familiar favourites, executed with precision and served without hurry.

Complementing the menu is Kinya's coffee and matcha program, created for those who believe mornings deserve as much craftsmanship as any evening cocktail. Whether it's a perfectly pulled espresso, a slow-brewed pour-over, a cold brew shared over conversation, or a ceremonial-style matcha, every cup is designed to encourage one thing: staying a little longer.

But The Weekend Breakfast is about more than what's served on the table. It's about creating a destination for the city's mornings, a space where entrepreneurs gather before the week begins, families come together over breakfast, friends reconnect after busy schedules, and travellers discover a different side of Bengaluru.

In a world obsessed with moving faster, The Weekend Breakfast celebrates the luxury of slowing down.Because some of life's best conversations happen before noon. And some of the best weekends begin around a breakfast table.

Air India Launches ‘Easy Connect’ Flights – Bringing the World Closer to Every Indian

Operationalises Government’s Hub-and-Spoke model from Varanasi
‘Easy Connect’ flights to soon begin from 11 additional cities: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Patna, Vadodara, Visakhapatnam

VARANASI, June 2026: Air India today marked a defining milestone in the Indian aviation industry with the inauguration of its first 'Easy Connect' flight under the Government of India's new hub-and-spoke framework, launching the transformative model aimed at linking the length and breadth of India seamlessly with the world, and vice versa.

The inaugural Easy Connect service, flight AI1111, departed Varanasi at 09:23 AM today, with international passengers on the flight connecting onward from Delhi to 9 destinations outside of India, such as Dubai, Colombo, Jeddah, Riyadh, Kathmandu, Phuket.

Mr Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India, inaugurated the first ‘Easy Connect’ flight from Varanasi’s Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport. At the occasion, he said: “Today we take a major step forward towards realising our vision of making air travel more accessible and building a future-ready, self-reliant Indian aviation industry that is efficient, inclusive, and globally competitive. Our new hub-and-spoke model paves the way for a monumental shift in how our citizens travel - where regardless of the city one lives in India, one can begin their international journey from their home city and travel across the globe with ease and confidence, on India’s own wings.”

At the launch, the Hon’ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Mr Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, presented the first passenger to check-in for the inaugural Easy Connect flight with a commemorative boarding pass. Also present at the occasion were Mr Samir Kumar Sinha, Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation; Mr. Puneet Kansal, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Civil Aviation; Mr Vipin Kumar, Chairman, Airports Authority of India; Mr Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Air India; Mr P. Balaji, Group Head – Governance, Risk, Compliance & Corporate Affairs, Air India; among other senior officials from government agencies and Air India.

Nationwide rollout

As the first airline to begin the hub-and-spoke services, Air India is leading a phased nationwide rollout that will progressively connect more domestic “spoke” cities in addition to Varanasi to the airline’s primary hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru, unlocking seamless, end-to-end international travel for millions of Indians.

Over the next few months, Air India aims to introduce ‘Easy Connect’ services from several other Indian cities progressively, including Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Chennai, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kochi, Mumbai, Patna, Vadodara, and Visakhapatnam, thus fundamentally changing the way Indian travellers access destinations around the world.

Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Air India, said: “India is a major force in global aviation, and yet, for decades a meaningful share of Indian travellers flying abroad have routed their journeys through overseas transit points - often at the cost of comfort and convenience. Air India’s ‘Easy Connect’ flights is a response to that reality, and we are grateful to the Government of India for its vision and support in enabling this framework.”

Wilson added: “In today’s India, a family in Varanasi, Amritsar, or Vishakhapatnam should not have to navigate unfamiliar transit environments to reach the world. They should be able to begin their international journey from their home city, on their own soil, feeling confident, comfortable, and proud as they connect seamlessly to global destinations.”

Nearly 25 million passengers travel long-haul to and from India annually, of which close to 20 million are connecting travellers – and around 85% (approximately 17 million) of whom currently transit through overseas hubs rather than Indian airports.

Be Wellness and Matcha House Bring Delhi's Most Elevated Collagen Matcha Menu

New Delhi, June 2026  – New-age nutraceutical brand Be Wellness returns with its second landmark café collaboration, this time joining forces with South Delhi's beloved speciality destination, Matcha House, to launch the collagen menu, of three collagen-infused matcha creations that bring together vibrant flavour, clean ingredients, and glow from within.

Guided by the philosophy of Sip, Nourish, Glow, this menu is designed for a generation that refuses to choose between tasting good and feeling better. Your matcha order is now your skincare. Every sip becomes part of a daily ritual that nourishes from within, bringing collagen out of the supplement aisle and into something you actually look forward to. As beauty from within continues to shape the future of wellness, ingestible collagen sits right at the centre of the shift,  turning your matcha order into a meaningful skincare upgrade.

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body that plays a vital role in maintaining skin elasticity, joint strength, and overall structural support. However, as natural collagen production gradually declines with age often accelerated by stress, pollution, and lifestyle factors. Collagen supplements can help replenish structural proteins from within, making it a popular choice for those looking to support both beauty and overall well-being more holistically. A great way to do that is by incorporating collagen into everyday formats like beverages.

Speaking about the collaboration, Angela Toppo, CMO and Co-founder of Be Wellness, said, "We formulated Be. Sexy around one principle: beauty nutrition only works if the doses are clinical and the mechanism is real. The gut-skin axis isn't a wellness trend; it's established physiology. The Matcha House built its entire identity around an intentional, daily ritual, which is exactly the behavioural context that makes supplementation work. This menu is our way of making beauty-from-within feel approachable, elevated, and genuinely enjoyable, where your daily matcha also becomes part of your skincare routine.”

Celina, Founder of Matcha House, added, “At The Matcha House, we’re constantly exploring ways to evolve the café experience for a community that values both taste and intentional living. This collaboration with Be Wellness felt incredibly aligned because it brings together functional wellness and the comfort rituals people already love. We wanted to create drinks that feel indulgent and aesthetic, but also leave you feeling good long after the last sip.”

The Skin Nourish Drink menu features Be Wellness' hero formulation, Be. Sexy VegCollagen Builder, the only vegan collagen blend that’s clinically formulated with bioavailable plant nutrients to enhance skin structure, firmness, and glow, and is powered with 500mg glutathione

This collagen-infused vegan menu features:

  1. Be Vanilla Glow (₹449) — Smooth matcha blended with fragrant vanilla syrup and creamy coconut milk

  2. Be Ocean Glow (₹449) — Earthy matcha meets vibrant spirulina, lightly sweetened and rounded off.

  3. Be Pistachio Glow (₹499) — Rich pistachio meets smooth matcha and condensed oat milk.

The menu is available exclusively at Matcha House, Green Park, New Delhi, starting 1st June.

~ Hosts an exclusive dialogue with industry leaders on the evolving language of luxury weddings in India

R to L: Dr. Anmol Ahluwalia, Area Director-Operations and General Manager, Taj Mahal, New Delhi; Ms. Anju Modi, Couturier; Ms. Vandana Mohan, Founder of The Wedding Design Company; Ms. Shilpa Sharma, Founder of Breakaway; Mr. Parthip Thyagarajan, Co-Founder and CEO of WeddingSutra

New Delhi, 25th June 2026: Reinforcing its position as the Capital’s iconic destination for landmark celebrations, Taj Mahal, New Delhi, brought together leading voices from India’s wedding ecosystem in an exclusive dialogue in association with WeddingSutra Engage. Drawing on perspectives from hospitality, fashion, wedding design and travel, the evening centred on the evolution of modern weddings, confluence of cultures and the personalisation of experiences.

Held at Longchamp and anchored in the philosophy of Timeless Weddings, the panel featured Dr. Anmol Ahluwalia, Area Director-Operations and General Manager, Taj Mahal, New Delhi; Vandana Mohan, Founder of The Wedding Design Company; couturier Anju Modi; Shilpa Sharma, Founder of Breakaway; and was moderated by Parthip Thyagarajan, Co-Founder and CEO of WeddingSutra.

The conversation centred on three key shifts shaping luxury weddings in India – personalisation over scale, culinary experience as part of the celebration itself and, legacy as a marker of timelessness. The discussion highlighted Delhi’s growing prominence in the wedding landscape, shaped by its cultural richness, architectural heritage and ability to offer distinctive experiences for both hosts and guests.

Dr. Anmol Ahluwalia, Area Director - Operations & General Manager, Taj Mahal, New Delhi said, The most memorable weddings are remembered not only for their grandeur, but for the emotions they evoke and the moments they create – with Trust, Awareness and Joy. At Taj Mahal, New Delhi, we believe timeless luxury lies in this balance of elegance, warmth and personal meaning. Our advantage has always been the range we can offer within one address, from grand ballrooms to intimate lawns and storied restaurants, elevated by bespoke services. Through Timeless Weddings by Taj, our endeavour is to craft celebrations that reflect the individuality of each couple while embodying the warmth, intuition and legacy of Taj hospitality.”

Adding a unique and immersive touch to the evening, guests were invited to a ‘Kitchen Party’—an afternoon tea curation offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the hotel’s culinary world, pairing Indian bites with classic English tea traditions. Set amidst stunning views, the experience featured a live showcase of the hotel’s signature restaurants. House of Ming presented classics including Golden Fried Prawns, Tofu Pancake, Edamame and Cheese Dim Sum, and Mapo Tofu with Jasmine Rice. Varq showcased regional and seasonal favourites such as Panchdhaan Khichda, Varqui Khumb, Guntoor Chikki Paneer with Set Dosa, and Safeeda Gosht Biryani. Rick’s complemented the experience with its signature bar, serving a selection of craft cocktails and mocktails. The experience concluded with an indulgent dessert trolley and chocolate cart, featuring creations such as Quinoa and Orange Kheer, Rasgulla with Coffee Tiramisu, and artisanal chocolate selections.

For close to five decades, the hotel has played host to Timeless Weddings as a custodian of celebrations, creating experiences that feel both grand in scale and personal in spirit. Set in the heart of Lutyens’ Delhi, the re-imagined Taj Mahal, New Delhi uniquely combines its historical grandeur with modern luxury through elegant banquets, landscaped lawns, terrace garden and versatile event spaces, complemented by award-winning culinary experiences, luxury suites, bespoke services, wellness offerings through J Wellness Circle and the hallmark warmth of Taj hospitality.

Nara Thai Introduces Taste of Thai, Bringing the Art of the Thai Lunch to Gurugram

Nara Thai introduces Taste of Thai, a new weekday lunch format launching on 29 June, built around the five-course rhythm of a traditional Thai meal and designed for guests looking to enjoy a thoughtful midday dining experience. Available Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM and priced at ₹1,250++, the experience moves through soup or salad, small eats, a main course, a staple and dessert, accompanied by a beverage, with every course offering a choice so the meal feels personal rather than fixed. It is less a set menu than a considered introduction to what Nara does best, condensed into a format that balances convenience with the pleasure of a complete Thai meal.

The menu draws on dishes that have come to define the Nara experience, including Tom Yum Soup, Tom Kha Soup, Raw Papaya Salad, Larb Gai, Crispy Betel Leaves with Chilli Lime Dip, Chicken Satay, Thai Red Curry, Thai Green Curry, Phad Thai Noodles and Tub Tim Grob. A number of dishes have also been introduced based on guest preferences and menu performance at Nara Thai’s Gurugram outlet, helping create a broader and more representative expression of the restaurant’s offering. Sweet, sour, salty and spicy notes are layered deliberately across courses, so that a meal enjoyed over lunch still carries the depth, balance and authenticity of a much longer dining experience.

Rather than separating vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners into different menus, Taste of Thai now brings both together in a single format, allowing guests to choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations across multiple courses. The result is a more flexible dining experience that accommodates different preferences at the same table while retaining the structure and progression of a traditional Thai meal.

Weekday lunch has evolved into something more than a functional pause in the day. It can be a catch-up with friends, a client meeting, a working lunch, a leisurely meal between commitments or simply an opportunity to explore Thai cuisine during the day. Taste of Thai has been shaped around that shift, offering a structured, multi-course experience that feels equally suited to occasions both professional and personal.

Most lunch menus are built for speed first and everything else second, but Taste of Thai takes a more balanced approach, bringing together convenience, flavour and craftsmanship. Guests move through fresh salads, comforting soups, signature small eats, aromatic curries and rice or noodle staples, choosing their own path through each course so the experience feels curated rather than prescribed.

The menu concludes with dessert and a choice of beverage, with guests also having the option to upgrade to a cocktail for an additional ₹250++. It reflects Nara Thai’s belief that great Thai food rests on balance and hospitality, thoughtfully adapted for the rhythm of a weekday afternoon.

Taste of Thai first found its footing in Mumbai, and its arrival in Gurugram marks the next step in that journey, building on a reception that has given Nara Thai confidence to continue refining the format. Available every Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Nara Thai, Taste of Thai invites diners to pause, savour and experience the flavours of Thailand through a complete five-course lunch designed for the middle of the day.
